Why the bird?

 

Well....why not? :D One excuse is, as Eberious said, a carrion bird is likely one of the only things in existence that wouldn't mind being around Jonas, as people are naturally averse to Pariahs, and according to the concept Templars would be particularly unfond of him on account of the whole Templar perspective on mutation.

 

Actually, the more I look at it, the more it grows on me. It gives him a silhouette that instantly stands out from the rank and file (standing on a big broken pillar helps, but the bird is a bit more subtle).

Lonly hearts?, lol. NAh wanted to give him to really make him stand apart from the rest of the style of BT's. Not sure if its works for me yet. But at work so still ummming and ahhing about it. Always better if you are right in front of it. But the thought is at the moment...is doesnt work as I would of liked it to have.

 

Ah, I know why, its becuase I load my stuff up with so much gubbins I feel its a little bare plus the story of being a loner outcast would befriend a animal that doesnt have cares the way humans do. If you get me.

 

oh, and I just got 2 wispas for the price of one from a vending machine, bargin!

While I don't post a ton, i lurk a lot! The local joke in my area is "How many lascannon's did you bring today?" So...

 

Crusader Initiate/Sword Bretheren with a lascannon. Helmet on (the helment with the Templar cross on the forehead from the chapter upgrade pack) with shoulder pads complete with tabards of awesomeness. Would also sport the backpack with the tabard on it from the chapter upgrade pack...

 

Or a tri-las Predator tank... black all over with a couple white cross decals, a mural, and of course some script.... cause I like my murals, even if I haven't gotten around to painting my Predators with them :teehee:

@Roma, no worries, I have the metal JP chaplin for you. Besides technically speaking the design would of been one of a loyal one at some point...probably. :P

 

Working through the HQ's first. Was going to wait for any sniffter of the new BT dex and the possibilty of new SB, but with this finecast I might get some of the SB if they are included with that remake. If not I'll just make SB and the HK out of exsisting bits.

 

Should be a bit more productive this week and next as on semi decent shifts at work which means I can get stuff done. that and I've almost finished assasins creed brotherhood, so that shound free up a LOT of time.

You know as well I brother that a Champion is chosen by the Emperor, and discovered by the Chaplins. They do not jump up and down with their hand in the air proclaiming 'Pick me! Pick me!' O.o

 

I do not desire any heraldry beyond that of Black Cross. As for the bird, why do you not wait until the 28th? And steal Coteaz's Two headed Eagle?

I am really loving Terminator Chaplain Firepower. The metal mini is great, but this one is really dynamic and gives freedom to people who want to build their own.

A+

 

Is that the paddelum? No wonder it hurts so much :D

Strange that the chaplain is getting so much praise than the previous one, while a great model I would argue the Jonas model is better.
