Got the remaining Pods done, massive amount of surface area on such smol transports.

 

Next week I'll work on the infantry and Contemptors to go in the last batch

I have mostly finished my hero scale DA, although there are always a few to go....

 

These smol dudes are a blast to paint. And LI is a cool game.

Not too bad thanks! Still grinding away at my own 1st collection. The Lion in both 30k and 40k settings is looming large on my painting desk. One day I'll update my log, just so much to put in there though. 

 

I haven't played a game of LI yet, I'll have to change that.

I'm taking a break from the smol fellas for a bit, the HH info about a plastic Fellblade has inspired me to get working on my resin Beast. He's been in the Pile o Shame for a couple of years, so it's time.

 

 

Bulked out the base layers, loads of work still to do on chonkyboi.

The barrels are drooping because they aren't glued yet.

Wow, really slow couple of months. RL has kept me crazy busy and not painting, but I've got back home and nearly finished the beast.

More gubbinz, transfers and some weathering to go, but it won't be long.

I haven't been too idol the last few months, real life and stuff. 

But, I did manage to build a display case specifically for my Legendary Dark Angels army. And then build and paint up a bigger Apocalypse level Allied unit for them.

That's him, on the right.

Nice rainy day here, great excuse to rebase this old Legend onto a 50mm base like his contemporary self. 

I painted him back when he first came out ~30 years ago, so be gentle. He needed a couple of chips fixed, and I upgraded the two weapon glows so he matches the rest of the lads.

 

Tomorrow I'm giving Zeke a similar refresh, again whilst keeping the older paint for prosperity....

Here's OG Zeke on a 50mm base (don't care that he doesn't have an option for that, Asmodai got one, so it's only fair).

Man, some of his paint isn't sharp, 3 decades of abuse will do that .

He also got a new force glow and some chipping fixed up.
