Interesting axe-head, I must say. Excellent choice of base model, though. Where are those shoulder pads from?

I am almost 100% positive those are puppets war shoulder pads. Good to see you back sick six! Can we expect youtube videos on your channel in the near future as well?

Wow, I thought those axes were smaller

Well there are single handed ones as well which are about half that size. The one I used is from the double-handed one on the long staff.

Are those arms glued yet? If not, I think they looked better in the more downward position, more hulking less supplicative.

No they aren't glued yet. But you are right now that I compare the first pose.

I would concur with Teetengee, except the issue seems to have been brought up and dealt with before I have had the chance to say anything. Oh well. ^_^

Getting very close now. What do you guys think? I am thinking I need to darken the armor some. The winged bits don't stand out enough and I don't want to do them in gold or bronze. Willing to hear suggestions.

I agree with you about darkening the armour. You can leave the helmet as is but darken the rest to emphasize the Silver Skulls part. :D Anyways, he looks great.

  • 5 months later...

So after months of not being able to 'hobby' because of renovation crap, I was finally able to set up my hobby table again.

Put my first Dreamforge Infantry guy together and also started working on my Librarius Conclave using a box of Grey Knights.

Thanks man. It is actually going pretty well. Got some more painting in today. A couple of the guys just need their purity seals finished and they will be ready for basing. I am somehow maintaining great motivation.

I do plan to put another table against the opposite wall where I will be able to set up my display board and light box. Allowing for proper showcase photos to be taken.
