I'm planning to remove the Annihlator turret and moving the Demolisher cannon to be more flush with the main hull. I may even remove the Demolisher and replace it with an assault ramp of some description.

Remove the turret mod the sponsons and you have a typhon siege tank!

A stolen LR Ares. Hmmm could work. :)

I'm still looking for a name for that beastie. Any suggestions?

Once I'm finished with it the Demolisher may be gone in place of an assault ramp but I may look at having it magnetised for swapsies.

I bow to your creativeness.

If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be considering buying another defiler and making my own "wannabe" Blood Stalker.

And now you throw some nasty looking tanks into the midst?

My fiancé and wallet are going to hate you. They really are...

The Shattered Maw?

Awesome score on that tank man, and it's good to see that Shadowsword (? Is that correct?) together. One nitpick, though it may be the angle of the picture. It seems that it's barrel is drooping a bit. Again, might just be the shot.

Awaiting your next post, brother. Keep it up. :)

Melekharn if you just check out the tutorial section you'll see how easy it is to make your own Stalker. Give it to your fiancé as a Christmas present. She'll love it :D

Heathens, it's based on a ShadowSword but I'm gonna be calling it a Decimator in honour of the old school Epic. The barrel droop isn't the pic and I will be making a support for it very soon. :tu:

Thanks Rhetoricus, I've been checking your thread a lot as well lately. Great work!

Right, I started this guy a couple of months ago to enter into a comp on Throne of Skulls. I've not been able to complete him in time and time isn't on my side due to work etc at the moment, so I'm just gonna show him here. He's my counts as Blood Thirster. I don't particularly like the standard GW model I feel it's in dire need of an update so took it upon myself to knock one up. Let me know what you think. Obviously he's still very WIP I still need to gs his hooves etc

That BT is sick!! Inspired use of parts. I have just purchased a LotR Balrog to convert into a Blood Thirster, now I don't want too anymore....!

Also, did you use these for your Land Raider tracks?

If so, how many do you need? Will two kits work for one Land Raider?

Ta bud :thanks:

Those are the tracks I used mate. I'm sure it's two sets you need but if you're like me you'll end up with some spare bits. ;)

Tom at Blood and skulls is a top bloke and the delivery time wasn't long at all even to the uk. He has some crazy super heavy tanks as well. I want to get a Balrog but found it cheaper to buy another DP and work on this. I also fancy making an Angron out of the Cygor kit with some zombie dragon wings and bits.

Ah cool, that sounds good to me, cheers. I will get on them coz they really do look boss. As for Angron, I am sure if anybody is going to do him justice it will be you - I am looking forward to that 'little' conversion.

RE my Balrog, I got him really cheap on flea-bay (like REALLY cheap), and when he turned up, it was the plastic version which I wasn't expecting so it was a bit of a result - I am currently amassing parts for a new project, that I will hopefully get started for a second army to mix it up a little.

Thanks for the support buddy can't wait to see what you do with a daemon force.

In other news....

They're heeeere! :) The Raven will be put aside for another time ;) I'm gonna use one of the Talons to build my Heldrake and the other will be converted for Imperial use. :tu:

Ha thanks buddy. No pressure then. ;)

I made a start on my Heldrake stand in. I'm really not fond of the whole mecha dragon thing. While it's a nice model it really doesn't fit with my army aesthetic. I took some spare bits and part of a Storm Talon and came up with this today. Needs chaosifying still but I quite like how it looks so far.
