Thanks for the feedback guys.

I don't have any more of the Skull Crusher headdresses mate but I'm thinking if I add anymore he's gonna be a little busy up top. I'm thinking just painting the skull in my brass/bronze colour.

Thank guys, the Juggers heads been bothering me but after seeing what Skrundle did with the DE Executioner head Ive ordered one of those to mess around with. IN the meantime here are some pics of what I've been up to. First is a group shot of most of the WIP stuff I have minus Slaghterblade superheavy and the two flyers.

The bikes and raptors are finally paint in progress. For the Raptors I'm looking for a bit of advice. I'm not sure wether to give all the squad gold helmets or just the champion? Thoughts?

Skull Champion Khorda is also finally PIP.

Once I finish him both my 8 man Zerker squads will be fully painted. I'm not even sure why it's taken me so long to get round to painting him???

Made a base for the Gorehound. Ignore the head as I'll be going back to the last design. I was just messing around with bits.

It still needs a lot of detailing before paint. I'm just waiting on the filler (which has been mixed with sand so will be textured as well but the white makes it very hard to see) drying before attacking it with more slate/sand etc.

And this sign I was thinking of writing Keep of the grass but someone on instagram suggested 'Beware of the Dog' which is a much better suggestion :smile.:

I also have a final build of Malek Deimos. Hopefully the storm bolter looks better?

And something I've had in my head for a while. Looking at a few threads with a Nurgle slant recently has obviously corrupted me. This will be painted in Death Guard colours more than likely. Im still trying to decide which foot I like best, Im leaning towards the claw rather than the hoof.

Malek Deimos and that Hellbrute-alike look great (is it a Hellbrute or just a demon engine?). One thing that I'd tweak on Malek though - perhaps an ammo feed for the Stormbolter? I think it'd be the cherry on the cake, really. Wrist mounted Stormbolters with a magazine poking out the side? Thanks but nah. ^_^

(Iirc Zinge Industries sells flexible ammo feeds.)

Nice stuff as expected, and the KL storm bolter is a definite improvement.

As for the Raptors, red with the bronze/gold arrow should be sufficient. I'm just disappointed at the lack of you know what  seeing as they wouldn't block intakes on those Heresy JPs. :whistling:

As for thon final monstrous creation, eeek ! Claw for sure, as the hoof is a bit too much, almost cartoon Doc Martens imo.

Any Breachers(count-as PM ?) btw ? KS was meddling with the idea, and I'm looking at the shields I have lying around menacingly.....

Thanks buddy, great suggestion on the ammo feed instead of the magazine for Malek and yeah that's a Helbrute, I suppose if pressed it could run as a Daemon Prince as well.

OSS Ive given the Raptors all the same head as a nod to the fact they were referred to as a separate Cult in the last couple of codices. Im not sure if I will keep them like this or bring them more inline with the rest of the army. Aaaand now I have the bloody Gummy bears song in my head again hahaha.

As for the Breachers I had seen KS progress on these and I am totally thinking of stealing.....I mean borrowing the idea.I have a few Chaos shields kicking around so will see what I come up with.

Wowsers! There's a lot of stuff going on here, here's my two cents

For the gold head I'd do just the leader, I always think it looks cooler to seperate the champion from the pack

For your hellbrute/daemon Prince I'd definately go claw over hoof and I also have to say I may have to steal this concept (with permission of course) I think it will tie in well with my whole daemon engine themed force. I particularly like th altered mask (which I will not steal) a slight mod has made it look fantastic

And "beware the dog" for sure

I like the idea of the chain axes, I have a few FW chain axes kicking around as well. Hmmmmm.

Skrundle87, thanks for the support and steal any ideas you like, that's part of this hobby I love. Being inspired by and in turn inspiring others. On that note after seeing your lord earlier today Ive ordered an Executioner sprue to work on my Jugger lord ;)

I kind of like it have the two different feet.. kind of gives it the crazy mutation type feel.. If I had to pick one or the other I'd probably say Hoof.. but I think that's just because I think it looks more like a stable base for something bulky and heavy..

I think Malek looks awesome but I've never been a huge fan of the storm bolter in general .. just has too much of a chunky feel to me haha.. but that's probably just me 8)

All of it is looking awesome as usual ... 8)

Ha I may have to keep the two odd feet as I can't find the partner for either one at the moment! They're in one of my bits boxes.........somewhere. I really need to organise the dozen or so boxes of bits I have kicking around.

As for the storm bolter on Malek that's been a sticking point for a few people since I first posted him. Im now looking at adding chain fed ammo instead of the clip bit. I'm also considering maybe adding a lightning claw and making him a counts as Abby? He already has the daemon sword.

A quick update on a few bits added to the Gorehound and it's base.

Malek Deimos is very characterful so far, but as Olisredan suggested, a belt fed stormbolter is the way to go.  You could perhaps even go a step further and have the belt lead to a giant, ornate ammo drum with a world eater maw on it.  Just a thought.

As for the helbrute? The clawed feet are the way to go, in my opinion.  They look much more predatory- like a lycanthrope almost.
