Right guys, inspired by RazXIII's log I decided to stop working on my DP/Titan and start concentrating on the actual Worldeaters themselves. Spent the afternoon rocking out to Fear Factory and chopping plastic and this is where Im at. The Skull Champ is obviously still very much WIP. Hes gonna need quite a bit of Greenstuffing as do most of the helmets.

Absolutely love the conversions that you have going on here, even the subtle stuff like the helmets is seriously cool stuff.

I love the Daemon Prince conversions, really imaginative use of parts going on there. ;)

Now go make some more...Khorne demands it!

Thanks Doghouse, I really dislike the standard Berzerker kit and wanted to do my own version. I stumbled across Teethgrinda's site a few years ago and saw how simple it was to change the heads to something much more fitting. The Daemon princes are a similar story, I saw the kit had potential but the standard options were fairly static and generic so wanted something more fitting of Khorne. Edited by Biohazard

Quick look at how they stand now. Not much has changed since earlier but I have twisted a couple of heads around.

Only the Skull champ to finish and another zerker to build to complete the unit of 8.

Loving the conversions. I always thought that the Beserker kit needs a major overhaul, and these conversions are a great way to keep tge models looking up to date. I really love the guy with the rebreather combined with the helmet, it looks really good for something which seems relatively simple. Just one question though: where did the weaponless hands come from? For some reason they look really characterful

Thanks buddy, I bought another Defiler today but have to go to work so no pics for now. I also bought some Liquid GS to give that a try and see how I get on with it.

Awesome!

For as much as I love the Defiler, I hope with a new Codex they would throw some new pieces in the kit.

Its starting to show its age, but I know you'll do some crazy kit bash!

Keep it up man.

Your really making me want to work on my Berzerkers again which is never a good thing haha

The Defiler will be butchered mercilessly to try and create some more workings on the legs of my 'Gore'hound :P

Daemonclaw that is a great idea and one which I may actually use. Im sure I have some chain lying around in one of my myriad tubs/drawers of bits. ;)

For the guys mentioning the open hands I cant remember exactly but I think theyre from one of the Grey Knights kits. I bought them a while ago. The two open handed guys are by far my favourites. Im very proud of them. :)

Oh and Mr M.......the call of the blood god is too strong even for you to deny. Get chopping ;)

If GW's zerks looked like these I'd have some serious trouble convincing myself not to jump ship to Khorne. Agreed with ThisIsJimmy, the rebreather helmet splice is very cool. And I absolutely adore the headgear on the second Daemon Prince. Can't wait to see some paint on all of these.

Thanks for the comments RazXIII

Im going to start to try and instill some discipline into myself with these guys so the DP wont be finished or painted until Ive finished the first squad then Ill do a squad of Terminators and paint the Dread after that. No idea how long it will take as everytime I try and put some time aside for the hobby I end up dealing with Real Life stuff.

I put a fairly large bits order into a few sites today when I really should have been working (teehee) so should have teh Zerkers all finished by the end of the weekend. Or at the very least all built.

Zerkers are all built now and just awaiting final details (ie removing the SW insignia and GS the gaps) before I paint them.

I also ordered a Furioso right arm as Im thinking of giving the Dread dual DCCW's. What do you think? Stick with the TLHB or switch?

A heavy ranged weapon capable of immense destruction from afar? I assume that'll count as a Hammer, right? =p

Just kidding. Love your conversions, man. Keep it up.

I think the look of duel DCCWs looks very menacing .. I'm sure a huge behemoth with a giant gun would be too ;) but it stalking up on you throwing sparks as it grinds its bladed fingers together really strikes me ... that's my vote .. :D
