Space Marine B&C Clan

Recommended Posts

I've got a quick question.

Will there be an 'official' clan colour/insignia scheme for any matches played?

In other words, when playing for the clan, you must be decked out in the colours and icons? Armour types and details are up to the individual, but everybody must be in pink with green trim and the Imperial Fist logo for example.

I'm just wondering, because it'll look so much cooler to your opponents if they have to fight against a team all from the same chapter :)

If I'm heading up the PS3 lot (which I now assume I am) then I'd say for proper arranged matches we'd go as a team (colours and all) but for regular play whatever colour you'd like would be fine. This is, of course, assuming there will be Clan vs Clan matches separate to normal matches. :HQ:

I have never been a fan of Clan color schemes. I am a regular gamer(spend more time on the consule then painting :P ) and have been in mutilpe clans that require this. This was always a major turn off for join a clan because I like being my own marine, not just another clone. I know it does look cool but sometimes letting people choose their own chapter leads to less problems. One solution is everyone can choose their own colour/insignia but their tag is B&C#(# is so we can tell each other apart ;) ).

^ This, +1.

That's fair enough, so long as clanners are identifiable I'd be OK with diversity. I'm flexible. :)

There is also the Legio scheme which still allows a shoulder pad in a Chapter color and then some variation within the Legio scheme itself. You can find examples up in the Legio B&C forum.

Gamer tag: Grizzly wiperz

consol: 360

any role will do for me too

If you do add me be sure to let me know that you are from the B&C and your name on here too, make sure you have a mic also as chatting with someone during a game will be great

I think for organised b&c team battles we all have the same armour colour but a shoulder pad with our own design/chapter. Not only would that look awesome when playing from both sides of the battle, we could setup battles against memebers of other wh40k forums that dont come here so to speak. Also its quick to confirm friendly players in the heat of battle and I think it would add more team work within games. I find that the most annoying thing of all, when some "lonewolf" players go off on thier own. work together win tohether and so on.

Single play, do you what you want its your game. Multiplayer do what you want, but I think if its the B&C gang then get in clan colours. Which of course should generate a fun poll of what colour scheme.

I second this: and I'll shall put in first suggestion colour..... Crimson Fist blue with red gauntlet... :-D lol

So, I haven't seen anything to for-sure confirm this, but my understanding is that the level of customization for your marine will be absurdly high. In which case, it may not be out of the question for us all to have a matching left-shoulder plate or some such; shoulder plate in B&C Legio colors, the rest of us in chapter colors as we wish.

Yes, I said "we". I love Steam. I really love the B&C. And I really, really love Space Marines.

I think my gamer tag is "thade" though it might be "me friending one of you when the time comes because I have no idea what it is". I'll be a Vanguard Veteran. That is, an assault marine with a white helmet and a seriously low life expectancy.

Great idea, Thade- matching shoulder pads a la reverse Deathwatch. We dedicate a shoulder to the B&C and retain the majority of our own preferred color scheme. I think that's an idea that everyone can get behind ^_^

I'm also on Steam. I've added TEC already, but I've been slacking on everyone else. I'm an old school Steam user, though, so my user name is an email... I'll be adding others instead of posting mine up here :P

I'll be the Devastator throwing down cover fire and keeping you alive for a surprisingly long time ;)

Xbox tag: Cpt Reinez

Steam tag: {9 Lives} Firenze

Role: Tactical (Boltgun) or Devastator (Lascannon FTW)

Im more likely to get it for xbox, and use my DIY colour scheme.

Also guys, there is 5 different appearance slots you can have. Maybe we could make one a Legio B&C one each.

Concerning the 'official' clan colour/insignia scheme, there are some different choice we all should vote on.

1. Like Thane point out, we could do reverse Death Watch with our left shoulder pad all being the same.

Pro: We all get our chapter to play as, look semi uniform

con: Some will not think it not unife enough.

2. Tag only say B&C(and if their more space some thing after that, like a number), which I suggested.

Pro: We all get our chapter to play as

Con: Some will think this is not enough for a clan.

3. Legio color scheme(which from my understanding is black, white and red) and maybe a shoulder pad for chapter symbol.

Pro: We look unife and will have a psychological impact on the oppisite team.

Con: We can"t be our own chapter, which is a major turn off for many members.(myself include)

In my honest opinion I think number 1 is the best choice because Its a mix that will make everyone happy in the end. We could come up with something completely different that what i suggested Or we could even mix these choices up. What does everyone think?

Uprising beat me to the punch, for which I blame the computer problems.

I personally prefer the Legio scheme, as it allows you to retain your chapter individuality, as well as presenting a unified image. Unless a mod wants to create a poll, which is probably unneeded, I can just tally up votes by PM. So just PM me option 1, 2, or 3 from Uprising's list.

Valerius: Where was this? It could create quite a few problems.

As far as I can tell, everyone will have several slots to save appearances in.

It looks like you can save like 7 Loyalist schemes and 7 Chaos schemes.

I suggest we all make a Legio B&C armor set for when we play as a team, and then when we're just playing with random people we can use our personal colors.

I'm going to probably have something like this:

  • TEC armor set (maybe just the Ultramarines Champion set, because...well...they conveniently seem to have made a special suit of armor for me.... If it's customizable, that would be GLORIOUS))
  • An Ultramarines 1st Captain armor set
  • An Ultramarines Sternguard/Vanguard armor set
  • An Ultramarines 2nd Company Veteran Sergeant
  • A Legio B&C set. (Probably a black and red version of whatever the TEC set is.)
  • Maybe one of my Hell Reaver Marines
  • Maybe one of my Guardian Angels (no relation to CMGreymantle's) Marines
