Regarding my project, it was to be a "Visions of Skalathrax" sort of thing, about the "birth" of Khârn as we know him today. Sadly, it didn't go forth, but it's ok.

As awesome as they are, battle scenes are a nightmare...it's hard enough to give a 1 ton, tank plating-armoured marine a sense of motion as it is. Not to say I won't do it, I love battle scenes. I'm just not sure I can deliver the same quality as with singles.

AztecsImeanRainbows are coming along nicely, but it's still in an early stage.

Edit: Pardon my manners...Thank you very much for your comments, everyone =)

Hum, no, mate, no way of doing it 3d-style, sorry. Great to know you're taking interest in him/her/it, but do give him/her/it better legs than I did. Like stumps they are, not slaaneshi in the slightest.

I also forgot to say how much I love the Heralds of Light guy. Really love the axe design you gave him and all the symbols work really well to tie together. Really makes me want to build a HoL army now.

That battle scene is :jaw: ing spectacular.

They're all amazing, especially the Lions of Alba stuff (not that I'm biased much -_- ) but that battle is just a whole different kind of awesome.

*spits out a gobbet of blood* "You will regret that Demon7!" DIE FOR YOUR TREACHERY!!!! *Lifts powertalon in the air, and cuts Demon7's katana in half* Hahaha your puny sword can't hold off the Emperor's wrath!!!

Anyone else feel sorry for the bloke getting thunderhammered in the plums mid battle scene?

Have to say I love the armour detail on the pauldron and chest armour for the lion's solo pic as well.

Thunderhammer strikes are great for battle depictions since you can pretty much go overboard on their effects.

I'm not that great at drawing organs or insides, etc, but since everyone's favourite mace pretty much reduces everything it touches to fine dust, it was just a matter of making the armour crack like cheap crystal and his liquified insides pouring out. But the stricken marine should be bigger.

Rainbow marines certainly are taking their time. I've never drawn aztec motiffs, weapons or armour, so I'm boucing between google images, the Lizardmen Army Book (awesome) and the drawing per se. But it's coming along well.

Again, thanks a lot, everyone.

A thunderhammer hitting something is akin to an explosion of energy coupled an ear splitting bang when the energy is released - the power can crack open armour and can pulp a body within armour but i haven't ever heard turning things to dust!

Still though i do love the battle drawing! ^_^

Aye, I let myself get carried by hyperbole there, with the "dust" thing.

Thanks, mate =)

Ossorius, The Sanctum

No way... I can't... but it's perfect...

*sets as background now and forever*

That is everything right about Dark Angels and Chaplains. Your artwork leaps to ridiculous amounts of life when colored. I seriosuly... it's amazing. Thank you for reaffirming my love for the hobby and the B&C community.
