Ah, Eagle One has touched down, at last. =)

A request on my part regarding the prizes. I usually try to follow your requests to the letter but, in this case, I ask you to allow me to use my ideas in terms of composition and context. Of course, which characters show up and their equipment/looks are yours to decide, but I want to push my inspiration to the limits, if it's ok with you =)

The same goes for the coats-of-arms, you tell me which elements you want, I put them together. Deal?

The only thing you need to remember regarding the Steel Wings - They're Iron Hands successors.  Take their name etc as literally or metaphorically as you like! ^_^

Wait, I managed to get a mention, not once but as an example too. Woo!!!!! Far better then I though.  The fact that I rushed my entry in the few hours after work before I hit the hay for an early start the next day.  I am going to have to put heaps of work into these guys again now.  And whatever Greyall comes up with shall take pride of place at the top of the Chapters IA.

Ah, back with news.

This was done for an Italian Warhammer Fantasy and 40K website, La Locanda delle due Lune. Very friendly folks, and it was a fun drawing to do.

Now, finally, on to starting the award for Special Issue Ammo's victory in the DIY contest. It will take a while, especially because it'll be done in A3 wallbash.gif Yeah, this won't fry my brains or anything...

Hope you like this, guys. Be seeing you.

Ugh. I missed this... Ah well, congrats to the winners, I'll have a fun time reading all of your entries :)

And, of course, good luck to you Greyall! And hopefully you'll organise another contest within the next few months :D

Oh, man, I just now realized I didn't thank you guys for the comments on the last drawing, so many sorries - and thanks, of course.

@Shiro: Aye, I do think it is, mate. Not that I knew of it, but a lot of people seem to recognize the symbol =p

Captain's Log: Day 10000 of Codename: Humongous Greek Headache. Progression is going well, though the effects of drawing so many Marines in one place are beginning to show on my psyche. In my mind, it's close to completion, but some failing part of my brain knows better. God help me...I'm loving this.

When the last line of the last marine of the drawing is made, then they will come. They will rise from the page, they will take your soul, and pull it into their world of ink and graphite and paint. Then you shall know the essence of true art. And also what it's like to be 2 dimensional, probably. And made of paper.

Keep up the hard work.

Take it from me, once you lose your mind, you'll never want it back wacko.png

Then let the cleansing flame of holy promethium wash over your psyche, master artisan. It burns the daemons of doubt and apathy from the mind, fires the furnace of productivity and fuels the engine of great achievement. May the Emperor guide your hand.

Lots and lots and lots of fine detail drawing = insanity, dementia, vertigo, crossed eyes, hallucinations, acute depression, bad gas, hang nails, planters wart, pneumonia, club foot, halitosis, memory loss, seizures, divorce, and/or brain death.

I'm looking forward to seeing if it was worth it teehee.gif
