Not a fan of blue Wolves, but I admire your skills in completing your vow :lol: It's the first time I've painted baby blue for wolves in a long time but I wanted to try a new version of it after the new IA 11 book came out, I'm not sure if I'll carry it into a new army though. My current build is all grey/grey ;) PJ....amazing. How are your tracks done? Thanks kassill, Pall Ironbear and forte ;) The tracks were painted with GW scorched brown, washed heavily with badab black, but I think in future I will mix some black into the scorched brown as much of this stage is lost under the dirt layer that follows. Once dry a 1:1 mix of kommando khaki and graveyard earth very heavily thinned with tamiya acrylic thinner was mixed with small amounts of weathering powders of various colours, small amounts only as they have lots of pigment in them. This is then flowed over the tracks, you can repeat this as needed plus it's better to do it twice with heavily thinned wash than go too heavy. this mix was also washed onto the lower areas of the LR in small amounts to represent dried mud. Once dry the tread details were lightly drybrushed with a 1:1 mix of black and gunmetal. Yeah, PJ!! That Raider looks amazing. I love the weathering and rust on the tank. Great job brother!!
