Thanks!

Yup, I'm nuts. Bonkers. Completely wack. But I just wasn't satisfied with Pandemion (counts as Typhus) - I basically just felt I had built a more dynamically posed Typhus, and not really a proper counts as - nor was he as impressive as I wanted. So I got this idea while trying to fall asleep a couple of nights ago - what if I used obliterator legs?

Here he is so far - I really like where this is going, and he's HUGE!

The torso is a really nice idea from one of the locals at my gaming club, several times GD winner Tue Kaae, combining the torso from a grey knight terminator with a regular terminator torso - It works great. The rebreather is an experiment, using a cut down old school CSM backpack.

Size comparison with a regular terminator:

Posted again for sheer awesomeness... :) :) !!

Thanks a lot guys - I really like him too. :P

I did a lot of greenstuffing tonight - I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.

If anyone's interested, here's a list of the parts:

Left arm chaos champion powerfist

Right arm, space marine powerfist (fingers cut off and reglued to grasp the scythe)

Obliterator shoulder pads.

Grey knight torso combined with terminator torso, with "halo" from CSM terminator

Daemon prince cloth between his legs.

Talos weapon for the scythe head

FW berzerker helmet, with bunny ears cut off, and spike added.

Obliterator legs - note that they are cut at every joint, and reposed quite a bit.

Rebreather on torso - berzerker power pack, cut up and turned upside down.

Thanks a lot guys - I really like him too. :P

Your bits box must be rediculous!Just like everyone else I really dig this peice, the thin waist to shoulder ratio has a classic anime feel to it that really works. The resperator really works as well, not sure if you are done with the back yet but it seems a little underwhelming considering it's the source of the strain (great fluff by the way). That's it, I love it, carry on!
AH you went for my suggestion! Kick ass! Big improvement over the previous one! You've also made it a lot more yours. The previous version seemed more like an attempted copy at the Typhus model rather than something truly unique!

Actually, I just read that you suggested the obliterator legs after you posted this, but thanks anyway.

I liked the head, but I wasn't completely sure about it, so I gave it another shot - this one, I'm in love with. It's based on a plaguebearer head with some greenstuff and a big horn:

The galaxy trembles and a name is whispered... Pandemion.

I'm a big fan of this thread but I think that new head looks a little cartoon. Cheesy grin and lack of detail make the lack of detail on the rest of the model whereas before the ultra detailed head contrasted nicely with the rest. Just my opinion though :o keep up the wips, love them!!!

the new head doesnt suit the detail level imo, as above mentioned .

that being said the model is awesome and if the head where to be changed somehow it would be awesome, im considering copying the idea for the legs and arms as it makes for such a beast of a model

for the head maybe have it less hood like and more triangle shaped by removing the edges from one side towards the ear and would be hairline area, have it half covering the head so you can see one side of the face similar to what megatron had in the dark of the moon film, something like that would retain the hood but add abit of detail as a face, if you understand all of that lol

and one question are those the new obliterator legs with the fleshy skin bit removed?

Love that guy, I'm always jealous that I never have these ideas first! Maybe to solve the complaints regarding the lack of detail on the head (if it's something you're worried about) it make the "hood" appear stitched together from a patchwork of smaller pieces of flesh, and the horn poking through it so that it's a cloth draped over his face like an executioners hood...
