chaplaincliff Posted May 25, 2012 Share Posted May 25, 2012 this is my jump chaplain for my Fallen Templars, he is made from the jump chaplain's body and head,as well as the pistol that comes with him, the cruzious is the daemon hammer from the grey knight termies kit with the head swapped for the cruzious head, the wings come from a necklace found at hot-topic (wife didn't like it) and the backpack is a standard chaos backpack off of a khorne berzerker kit. i pinned his foot to look like in flight and his weight made it so i had to put him on a 40mm base for stability. I used some IG shoulders for the kneepads, purity seals on the legs and terminator codpiece shields on the shins. His waist has a plastic GK fauld, with the leather strips from Loth's honor guard. The shoulders are spruced up with some random fancy eagle bits I found. The sword is my favorite part, its a mix of a GK falchion with the bottom part of a chainsword, the gs work hidden by some eagle wings. His cape is just a chaos lord cape with a backpack and eagle icon. Finally his head is some cool looking one I added hair to. Thx mate, the tusks are made of Fimo Soft (modeling compound). The Fimo was white but during the "baking" process they "transformed" ;-) into brown (influenced by Papa Nurgle himself ?!) I'm not satisfied with the paint job and some details I've botched, but they turned out okay for tabletop use I guess. After reading ADB's books I really wanted to start a Night Lord warband but the paint scheme made me want to slash my wrists, so I only finished one squad. I'm now working on a Death Guard warband but these guys will be joining in. He is painted in unorthodox colors for the Cybermarines, as that is his "personal heraldry" Parts used: normal legs (except I used a dremel to remove a lot of the insides, and made one leg bionic. That is how I decided on captain morgan in the first place) half of barrel from ogre bulls sword, torso, backpack, and one shoulder from grey knights hand on leg from... gun cradling hand? bionics are from random metal bits i forget where the head is from, but it obviously has greenstuff for the hair and hat. banner is some random space marine back banner.
