Here are some more UMs, 45 mins each.

 

The oil paints I've been using show up on the photos, but they're really not as dirty as they appear. Just some residual film from the solvent perhaps.

You're asking us to deliver something that the customer doesn't want? Sounds like a bad business practice to me :)

 

Yes it can look better, and yes we have a small amount of input to what we deliver - but I can assure you the argument I'd be making would be for anything other than painting more bleeding Ultramarines over drilling barrels.

 

These units are to match a larger army which is already painted - I am assuming the barrels aren't drilled in those models either, or he'd have asked for it.

I do agree mate, but it all takes time and that sort of detail is usually the first thing to go when trying to work a quote down. Your point is most valid, but we just do what we're told - and putting in unpaid time isn't an option, otherwise it's back to being a hobby and not a business.
