Did anyone look and say, "hey it would be awesome to get both command squads?"

I did....then realized it would cost $84.

And thus the awesome died rather quickly.

I could never be a millionaire.

I would spend it all on forgeworld things if I had that kind of money.

Don't worry, it'd be a fortune well spent.

We give FW a hard time for being supes expensive, but I think by that point, you'd just be coming up with fun things to do with your 5th Reaver titan.

Don't get me wrong... I've got a wobbly desk that would look great with a new leg crafted from half a dozen Crassus armored assault transports...

I have a theory that we might see the Space wolves, Ultramarines and the thousand sons legions in book IV. Hear me out: Battle of Prospero is supposed to occur at the same time as the battle at Isstvan so make Magnus join the traitors side and Calth I think is right after Isstvan V, so I fits the profile.

I sure hope Im right, Im cosidering the VI legion.

I'd imagine whatever the timeline for the next trilogy as forge world gets in the groove we'll see the books come out quicker and quicker. Space Wolves will be a bigger injection of capital than Ultramarines given the relative sizes of the fan base, BUT an imperial army release with the Calth book would appeal to IG players. The Custodes and sister of silence lines will require a bunch of models and that might switch it as we'll.

I think that if they do the space wolves for book 4, and it's before GW does the wolves, we might get a large influx of new people into 30k.

I thought 40k Space Wolves were due in early 2014.

Does anyone have any idea when we will start to see more Mk V & VI power armour appear?

I'm hoping for Istvaan V survivor armor. From the description in Deliverance Lost, the Mk V pattern the Raven Guard develop is not the one we're familiar with as far as being standard in appearance. I imagined a bunch of different armor mark piece-mealing configurations. Sure, I could just buy a bunch of armor types and mix and match, but I want the full look with studs and exposed cabling.

I emailed Forge World about mkV armor a few months ago. Here's their answer.

We have no current plans to release Legion MkV power armour. MkV was a designation given to all non standard upgrades to previous marks of Space Marine power armour during the Horus Heresy before MkVI Corvus Armour was fully issued. The upgrades in many MkV variants were aimed at protecting Marines from their own weapons used against them and would not have been developed until later than the battles at Isstvan.

That said, we do produce a kit depicting one of the types of MkV armour which you can find HERE. We are always developing new products and could consider MkV armour once our Horus Heresy series has advanced further.

Note "would not have been developed until later than the battles at Isstvan" and "before MkVI Corvus Armour was fully issued." If they are to appear, it'll be after Isstvan. And mkVI would follow, logically.
