Durfast Spiritwolf
As the next pack of Horus Heresy era marines for the Elva, Vlka Fenryka aka The Rout have reached the painting tray and, following requests from the cheap seats, here is the force to date. The only thing missing is the Fenrisian Wolves as the old goblin mounts are being replaced by the nice new versions. Apologies to Nordic friends for what are clearly Nordic inspired rather than real titles Mielikkigärd, Fenris Hunters http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0930_zps57821b70.jpg Lempogärd, Fenris Hunters http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0909_zps76137bec.jpg Ukkogärd, Fenris Hunters http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0912_zps2e00ca61.jpg Førgärd, Wolf Scouts http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0917_zps5494dc7d.jpg Etsiägärd, Wolf Scouts http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0918_zps39ed038d.jpg Förloraderne, Wulfen http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0914_zps83d3a5fd.jpg Surma Tuonelasta, Rune Priest http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0920_zpsf2f94994.jpg Äijö Pitkänen, Rune Priest http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0925_zpsd065989d.jpg Even Halvfist, Contemptor Dreadnought http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0924_zpsf83dfaf9.jpg Jarl Durfast Spiritwolf, lord of the Elva http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0922_zpsba80588c.jpg Ageir Skarpeklo, Wolf Guard of Fenris, vaerangi of Durfast Spiritwolf http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0928_zps8a66ec9b.jpg Vaerangir of the Elva http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/jannerxi/HH/IMG_0926_zps3072a553.jpg Next up are Long Fangs, followed by Fenrisian Wolves and then some Fenrisian Bloods
Captain Semper
You know what? the Contemptor is just ace in its simplicity! In a sense it takes guts to leave is so unadorned - given its status as a focal point in the army... way to go! :tu:
Durfast Spiritwolf
Thanks, Semper. I fear he was left unadorned as an event was looming and I then got used to him as he was. :)

Durfast Spiritwolf
Very well done brother! Russ would be proud! I really love the addition of the older wolf scouts, and all those wulfen!!! Looking forward to more! One question, the round shields on Spiritwolf and a few others, where is their origin if you don't mind my asking. Thank you. They are Early Medieval shields made by Gripping Beast. They don't advertise them separately, but they'd probably sort you out with some.
Lachdannan
Thanks again. Yes, there's the odd 2nd Ed in there with more to come Awesome. Will look forward to it. I've done similar things with my Fists, and am always pleased with the result. A good dose of nostalgia is always welcome.
