Charon: the oblits look cool. Is that some conversion or someone really makes such cool pseudo-oblits?

Just the old-style, as TheDevourer says - they're pretty cool. My only issue was the lack of proper armour per se, which meant I couldn't do them in the customary Death Guard scheme. However, the vast amount of orange hopefully ties them in quite nicely :)

 

And, without further ado, my fifth and final vow completed:

They were an eBay acquisition recently, and had the spikes included - although, I needed to repair most of them, I think they're great to mark them out from my other Oblits, whilst remaining thoroughly cohesive :)

 

I'll try and grab some better photos of them later - but I'm really proud to have come in strong at the end and bumped the total some more! Not to mention completing five vows - I didn't think that would happen!

 

Huge thanks once more to Captain Semper for answering all my questions and running this generally - thank you to everyone who has contributed big vows (Steve, Devourer, etc.!) and inspried me on this front.

I'm not sure how much you can actually see, but everything's painted and based to a decent table-top standard, which is what I was going for.

I can already feel my inner perfectionist screaming at some of the stuff though -but since I'm almost always at the brink of painter's block due to that guy, I'm glad I stuck to my guns and didn't go overboard :)

Yep like Chaeron says Come on team chaos (now there is two words you don't her often together team and Chaos). I've sort of resigned myself to losing to the D.A's but to the B.T's as well! furious.gif

I'm just sorry I ran out of models to paint for a 5th vow...

so at what exact time do we have till on 15'th (don't forget time zone =P) . im really killing my models finishing off details and i'd like to slow done a bit if possible so I don't feel like this comp did more harm then good to my models ><. but if I have to finish the rest in coffee mode the so be it! I will not shame the word bearers, and more importantly I don't wana be cursed and turned into ....gulp.... an ultram arine +_(.

I had to cut a couple of corners with these to finish in time. also I had to watch them crumble to pieces thanks to gw's plastic glue, so my weekend consisted of ripping them apart and pinning everything on them.
