this is really what i need to kick start my death guard army (and get me off the xbox)..

the points break down are as follows:

2 X ten man tactical squads= 300 points

master of signals= 85 points

will be great seeing all your progress throughout this event and good luck to you all!

So, iv actually made some progress. This is status from 2 days ago. Now I just need to finish up the base, find some more oaths of moments (Cant never have too many of those) and assemble it.

Edit: Got a pic of the progress. Buut Corax: Soulforge just arrived. So that's It for today

Venerable brother Zariah was one of the orders finest knights on Caliban, and
participated in the great cleansing of the calibanite beasts. When the emperor
arrived with the 1st legion he, along with so many other of the knights was
implanted with the lions gene seed and trained as a marine.

His skill in battle was unmatched, and many foresaw that he would soon lead his own
chapter. Jet fate intervened and he was greatly wounded, and thereafter placed
in one of the sacred Contemptor pattern dreadnoughts.

His shoulder markings, marks him out as a calibanite born, and a knight of The
Order.

The first picture is just him standing next to my relic Contemptor, whom I haven't given any history yet ^^

Alright, I thought since I've gotten myself some Forge World goodies and this ETL just started then I may aswell take part, now that I've some form of working (albeit terrible) camera.

Minor Fluff before I go into it eventually:

 

Fought along side a World Eater detachment for a few years, disgusted by their actions, but nonetheless fought alongside them, constantly outdoing that detachments actions in war-zones, whether it was out-thinking them tactically and completing many of the set objectives, or retaining far lower casualty rates than their frenzied kin lost to the nails so often.

Took up the World Eaters use of Drop pod assaults among his own Company and gained quite a reputation with their use.

 

Centurion Keyaetus managed to outlive four previous Centurions of the World Eaters detachment assigned with them, and tensions were always short due to the World eaters perceiving the 35th company who fought with them as smug and upstart, thinking themselves better. Left on bad terms after telling the most recent Centurion to be assigned to the attached World Eaters that their legion's high death rate was a unnecessary and pathetic waste of Gene seed and recruits. The resulting remark ended their assignment, mainly due to the bloodied brawl that took part between the two Centurions.

 

The 35th were then assigned along side a small detachment of White Scars then after.

 

(I will use him as a Praetor in games I've decided for use of drop pods, but fluffwise I'll keep him a Centurion/Champion.)
