Thanks, yeah, no problem, I'm sure somebody asked me before as well (oops). 

 

It's pretty simple when you read it.

 

The first thing you should do is only part assemble your mini, for the World Eaters I leave both the shoulder pads and back packs off, they get sprayed black, the main body of the mini gets sprayed white followed by a base coat of Ulthuan Grey. Once this is done I then black out the areas, using a brush, that aren't going to be white and paint those.

 

The white is then done this way;

 

Paint watered down Agrax Earthshade into all the reccess'

Neaten up any mistakes with Ulthuan Grey

Highlight with White Scar

 

As simple as that!

 

I've got a lot of experience with painting white, it's really down to getting your (personal) process right and feeling comfortable with it.

 

Hope that makes sense/helps?

Thanks mate, you know I'm probably going to get cracking on the autocannon squad first as I may have to transport the army on it's first outing early next week and they really need to be glued for that.

I do my white almost the same but with the older GW paints. :)

Awesome Emperor's Children, Laborious!

 

Just finished my World Eater predator. It was the first time I really tried proper weathering, and I'm quite pleased at how it turned out. Also, thanks to pingo for his excellent heat stained barrel tutorial.

Thanks, Telhdrat. They were fun to do. Spent far too long tinkering with the conversions just because i was enjoying myself so much, goona take me years to finish this army at this rate. (Don't worry though, Semper! Think I'm on track to finish my Vow in time, though I kinda wish I'd broken it in two just for peace of mind. No idea why on earth I thought I'd ever actually use up 5 extra Vow rations at my pace, but I got greedy! tongue.png)

Really ace looking Predator, Telhdrat. Really nice job on the weathering. Suitably battered, but not overdone. Much like Spikey's work, which I hope you will take as a compliment. smile.png

Horus Heresy ETL 2 WOW!

You guys are awesome, a very talented bunch indeed. I've been visiting lately and just wanted to say of all the Strategiums on here you guys may not be numerically superior, even though spikyjames seems on a mission to create an entire legion by himself msn-wink.gif but the quality of the modeling and painting is sublime. This is the "Inspiring" Strategium!!
