Anyway I thought i'd post my army thus far...another but not all my figures are in the pictures a 5 man Assualt Squad and an Ashen Circle squad which il be converting to be a vanguard vet squad not sure on weapons yet but I feeling thunder shield and power maul. Seeing Night hunter and Black-adders mammoth projects inspired me to do something to the flying boat, its nothing close to the amount of work either of them would do but I like it. It's also meant to be a secondary exhaust system but I may get some pipe and bend it into the engines them self to show the idea off more :) Â Umm, I hate to break this to you but, Haegr's horn is the wrong way round. I like the idea of him grinding somebody's head down- the most graphic (by which i mean awesome) thing i can think of is a kneeling figure, grabbing the claw, as if trying to push it away with the last of his will, while the teeth of the chainclaw are halfway through his forehead. As for the guy currently on the claw- I see You too have a passion for modelling triple-dead enemies onto Your heroes ;-) I hope we never go into competition mode in "who can make enemies more dead on bases" (although a part of me kinda wishes we would). Â Brother Hamlet looks cool. Very Mortal Kombat AND Shaekspearean at the same time, which ,btw, is the first time this phrase has been written, If i may venture such a guess. Â I like the rust on the grey, it does provide a nice counterpoint to the grey and black (nice freehands btw) and makes them look like they really mean business. Â By far the most gruesome image however, was that cut through the fingernail. I've been to autopsies and seen surgery firsthand, even on my own hand once, but this feels like running a nail on the enamel of my teeth, like a vinyl record. How did You manage to cut it so badly? Â Lastly- a minor criticism- I think there should be more glass on that contemptor's base. All sorts of colors, too, and a bit of an angel's head stained-glass painting (or Marshal Helbrecht's from the codex banner image), but that's just me, i guess. But I I can't take credit for the pose it was just putting corpses in the right place as I couldn't bring myself to cut him. Also thanks for all the kind words but most of the "freehand" is decals... My ego appreciated it but my conscience said I should tell the truth ;) thanks anyway bud. Â I shall try and do your idea justice and will add more glass and possibly a figure in the stained glass window I can't guarantee it but try I shall! Â Oh and the finger that was trying to cut some vegetables. I slipped with the kitchen knife luckily I heard the crunch of my nail, I slowly removed the knife from my finger and just had time to get to the sink before the blood started to flow. Squeaky Posted February 17, 2014 Author Share Posted February 17, 2014 Well its only a small update but I've been busy with work and my brother is down for the week so we actually had a game of 40k Wolves Vs Sharks ... was a close game but Blood Claws V Tyberos and 5 terminators (where the last squads each of us had left from 1000pts) It was kind of obvious who would win even if my brother did kill a few termis with bolt pistols xD. But I digress I haven't had the dexterity to work on my storm raven, but have done a bit more work to Tyberos and started work on some terminators (as in the game they where just 10 bases.... lol the game really was a clash of unpainted, primed and finished/non-existent models on both sides) First Tyberos thanks to Ch@oz I came up with this it works alot better than half a marine hanging from the lighting claws . I would like some help or ideas for the last pose my mind has drawn a blank ;\ and any advice for the two new guys I have actually come up with a name for the first two terminators Isurus and Cobalus. Isurus is the genus for the Mako sharks and Cobalus meaning goblin in latin (after the goblin shark).This is Isurus and maybe.. I probably should have added a bit more of a gut but eh just have to paint him now... lol.  So I've been doing some horrible hours at work lately and have had about 10 hours sleep in the last 3 days. Though I have been modelling into the night xS so i only have myself to blame. He follow's Tyberos marshal closely trying to perfect his combat style, with his cool head and razor sharp awareness he can make the slightly out dated indomitus pattern armour dance. I have only done fine detail work on Cobalus and Leucas, though i have made two more terminators for the squad only problem is I've lost the bases for them... though I introduce Glyphis and Ctenactis.
