Black is such a pain to make pop i concur with 200plus. without adding a highlight stripe ,black looks flat.but adding a highlight will take away the shark deadeye look.gloss would help even if it just catches the light for pictures great work there buddy especially the greenwork on the shields Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Unfortunately life being the sod it is I haven't really had the time to sit down and paint. But an opportunity came up where I could do a librarian, which I've wanted to do a Carcharodon one for a while ever since I read this : Carcharodons Librarians Like many of their fellow Chapters, the Carcharodons have been observed making use of Librarians within their ranks, with little deviation from their roles in other Chapters. Most Chapters train and test chosen psykers following the ancient ways laid out in the Codex Astartes. Librarians of the Carcharodons are trained in this way, and, with few minor traditional variances, have been taught to live by the word of the Codex. Carcharodons Librarians have a number of unique psychic abilities only used by the psykers of their Chapter, including: From the Depths - The Carcharodon Librarian clouds the minds of his adversaries with a choking mental darkness, amplifying their fear and surprise so that it paralyses them. Their minds writhe with images of watery depths of numbing cold and writhing pelagic shapes, leaving them vulnerable to assault. Rending Maw - The Librarian calls forth the avatar of a great oceanic predator whose maw erupts from the very ground beneath the enemy. The very stones and earth reform into the shape of jaws and teeth that snap shut, consuming all within in a shower of gore. So I've run with Rending Maw maybe a little to far for a rather plain character but hey... I enjoyed cutting up cork and trying to shape it into a sharks head. I've done a terminator base if I ever want a termi librarian but haven't started on the figure just because really. I've been sat down most of the day watching game of thrones and painting so I've spent a bit of time actually painting. May not look like a lot but there is around 7 hours work xD...
