Zynk Kaladin
What happened to our fighting spirit?! I want to see more models! Sanguinius weeps... Anyway, I'm pledging 4 death company models: 2 almost done, 1 just modeled, and 1 needed to be built. I decided to go with the traditional Blood Angel colors for my Night Angel Death Company. They stand out a lot more in my sea of darkness and also fit the fluff of my chapter quite well. Opposed to the noble and angelic half of my chapter(lots of angelic motifs and happy adornments like Lucien), the Astartes of the other half are essentially savage death worshipers (Skull and bones!) who think falling to the black rage is an honor to experience oneness with our primarch. I thought it would be a cool idea for them to grasp the traditions of their parent chapter. Here's the status so far: 2 BP/CCW DC (need touch ups) and 1 with BP and power axe (need to paint): Power Axe: EDIT: 3rd BP/CCW DC: Edited October 11, 2013 by Zynk Kaladin Taranis 1 Back to top

Zynk Kaladin
Thanks Brother Maxwell! Res, I know exactly how you feel. A singular model is always a safe play. Make Sanguinius proud!
Taranis
I always pledge too much and always fail, so for now I'll pledge one Mephiston.Good plan and most welcome news. I hate to be a stickler for protocol but a formal vow is the ticket for admission. :) As your can see Zynk Kaladin is making a second vow without formal declaration of completion of his first vow. This he does knowing he's in his full right to do so. He completed his vow two days ago and here are his last two master pieces. Marines, I'm happy to present the: IRATUS DOMINUS http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae257/Pendragi/40k%20art/gallery_52275_4552_20046.png And the: CARCERES IRA http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae257/Pendragi/40k%20art/gallery_52275_4552_22336.png The award is won, and may be carried, when completing a vow but lost if any vow's are incomplete by the end of November. Who will shine the most in this display of loyalty to our Primarch and Legion? Edited October 11, 2013 by Taranis

SnorriSnorrison
Howdy guys, just a quick update here, and what I worked on the last couple of days - AT LAST! MY RAVEN IS COMPLETE (AGAIN)! http://i946.photobucket.com/albums/ad309/Snorrinorrison/IMAG0331_zps8c3c4089.jpg And them weapons. http://i946.photobucket.com/albums/ad309/Snorrinorrison/IMAG0333_zps1719ee1f.jpg Basically I'm waiting for my magnets to arrive(should've shipped 3 days ago *grumble*) so I can continue with the Reclusiarch's weapon options. Until they arrive, I'll start with some GS where magnets aren't needed. Snorri MadGreek 1 Back to top

Cheers mate, it's freehand, and kinda the motif for the scroll on the other wing. Took me way too long to finish it, though. Thank you, 'From Rage to Salvation!' Crusader Bob
Skimming through my collection i've realized there are no objective markers, never got around making some (the fact i have no idea with what make them has a part in this, no way i'm going for the boring ammo crate). Anyway, in case i decide to make a few, will be valid blood angels entries? Yes, i'm shamelessly using this painting event as a push to do things, so forgive me
Taranis
Long day at work. I'll update tomorrow. @ Xmercx. Congratulations on breaking the seal on the box of 4th vow goodies.:tu: @ Crusader Bob. Anything Blood Angels goes. :) I am still undecided about how or if to single a champion out. Number of vows? Total points? Difference in starting point? Quality of painting? (Here I'm on very thin ice...)
Kanis
@Snorri I have to fanboy at you, I've been following your other thread and your vows here, and you're skills really make our Angel proud and I've gotten inspiration out of your work for mine (not to say others here are any less awesome!), but the freehands and level of yours are quite amazing, please keep it up as an aspiration lowers like myself. @Taranis. If you do decide to choose one, I'd go with number of vows also instead of points, but just my small input to say so. :)
