Awesome paint job. Really love the OSL on the lights! I can't quite decided if the highlights are a bit too bright for me but really, really like the darkest red. You are registered as having fulfilled your vow to your legion, and a most inspiring and innovative one at that.:tu:

Yeah I know I still have time and promised to procrastinate some more, but I finished early.  Perhaps I'll vow something on 30 November just to spice things up and make this a challenge :teehee:.  What is the official deadline anyway?

Oddly the tabard doesn't show that red or yellowish spot as I watered down a mix to cover them.  It must be the camera.  Still, this was easy enough, especially when you don't paint the back of the model.  I left the eyes white as I had caught X-Men on tv the other day and saw Storm's all white eyes when she summoned the weather and thought it would be a cool, "I'm using the Warp" effect.

Hello there, brothers! Long time no hear, but I tell ya I was busy. I'm moving to a new city for a job and the shifts at work are either very early or very late, and I was building a table from scratch using wood I found in the basement.

 

Anyways, I managed to paint up the remainder of my vow, and I'd like you guys to see what I've been up to.

I will call that complete I hope they will give the emperor (and me) good service.

There are little details here and there that will require my attention in time but doing these in a week as well as a 58 hour work schedule I'm pretty pleased with them

@Vorganov. Good stuff you have created. Sometimes the best plans turns to dust. It's far better to paint something that will last, than rush something through that you know you must redo.

 

When the dust settles there's a badge for everyone.

 

@T4play. Good stuff. Especially with such a short time frame. :)

I just noticed, I pledged my two Sanguinary Priests as well. I believe I posted pictures of them before, but here they are anyways!

OK, not my best work here.  Looked better in person, with my glasses, but apparently my glasses don't do well up close.  Of course the camera finds ALL flaws.  Guess I shoulda got those bi-focals they suggested.  next time...  Anyway, here is the Captain.  Done?  Yes.  But I will probably be cleaning him up when i get glasses that can see the detail in person.

Are they pink or is that your camera and/or my monitor making them look like that?  I mean Hello Death Company is kind of a hilarious idea, so I can understand if it was intentional.

Haha, no they're red mate :laugh.: 

I'm kinda struggling to find some good light bulbs/cameras on the cheap to take more impressive pictures...ah, perhaps for yulefest upcoming ;)

Never you mind that!  A good time was had by all and the tabletops of the grim dark future now have a little more Red Thirst to go around.
