Sentinel Guy
Civilisation and progress is neither a natural state nor a guarantee of the passage of time, the mere fact of the Age of Strife and all its horrors are enough proof of this. The sole purpose of the Great Crusade then is the furtherance of peace through war, the creation of plenty through restriction and the establish of freedom through tyranny. From the Principia Lex Imperialis Inferno gave us this tidbit about the Imperium being perfectly aware of its state as a tyranny. No wonder Angron and Mortarion bailed out. It's very 1984. Brother Captain Kezef
My favourite quote is from Prospero Burns "It takes a great deal of control to be this dangerous" Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/279695-quotes-that-struck-you-from-the-heresy-series/page/11/#findComment-4689963 Share on other sites
civsmitty
Fulgrim: "I have heard from a contact on Mars, Jaghatai, that you do strange things to your ships." Khan: "I heard from a contact that you do strange things to your warriors." Made me drop a Friday-esque "daaaaaamn" out loud. "He bruises easily." Dorn, about Sigismund. Under the bus you go, First Captain!
