Character first, then whichever of the Terminator or Vanguard squad you've got more ideas in your head for. IMHO, anyway.

 

Is this a character you've crafted yourself or is he in the Badab background? He looks badass. I confess my Marines Errant knowledge is slightly lacking in the Badab era department.

Some excellent stuff in here and a fantastic take on the Mariens Errant

 

Lots of stuff to fuel my efforts with the Carcharadons

 

Maybe we are due for another "a tale of X gamers" thread. A new BADAB thread. Get some new blood in.

 

I would be down to add the fury of my Charcaradons to this

Thanks! He's Anton Narvaez, the only ME character with rules. His rules aren't that great, but it'd be a shame to never include him.

I'm a big fan of Vanguard Veterans so if you're looking for votes, that's mine.

Vanguard Vets are cool...

Thinking about magnetising the backpacks, so i can run them on foot too. Would mean ripping the backpack off my jump-captain and magnetising that too, though. Mmmm, hobby OCD.

Unfortunately, ran out of Black Spray paint, so the Tac squad is on hold... I need it for their backpacks. < this is one of the reasons i've started just glueing the backpacks on now, and to hell with reaching hard to get areas.


Been working on some terrain though in the mean-time. Not that exciting, but I like terrain. smile.png



Some wrecked land-speeders, made from really badly made/painted speeders off ebay. I scored penetrating hits with a hammer and hacksaw.

Very nice! Are the jungle bits plastic fish tank plants or something?

 

Great use of the speeders too, I'd never normally cut up complete kits for terrain but I guess if they're too messed up to be used (and picked up for cheap enough :lol: ) then it's a great way to make the most of them!

Cheers! The jungle plants/bark are all fish/reptile tank decorations. I had the idea when sprucing up my pet snake's tank, and got a load of cheap plants off ebay. I use the bark rocks because I wanted the jungle to actually definitely block some LoS. I've got another couple of bases of it on the go. :)

And yeah it does sorta seem like a waste! They cost me a couple of quid though, and were missing parts/had caked on paint/ glue together badly; and i knew i was never going to get around to rescuing them.

Agreed, Furioso. Terrain building is alot of fun, and makes a nice break from painting models.

Made a few smoke markers for games. :)

Its Cotton wool hot glue-gunned to flickering LED tealights, then sprayed with some black spray from above. Cost about a tenner in total. Half of that was the glue gun, so if you have one already, whoop whoo!
