@Jackofalltrades

Thanks, yes they are. We have 'God of War', so why need camo? Just go to ground - and tactical retreat and regroup!

@Drunes

Thanks for your compliment.

@Tarvik

Now he is finished. I'll bring the photo soon.

@Firepower

He just really lot of putty. I cutting normal marine's legs - and pinning all of it, and putting of almost every gaps.

@Excubitor

Ratzinkaiser and The_Chaplain is right. Terminator chest plate, Terminator Calgar's head & powerfist, forgeworld Raven guard character legs, and some forgeworld brass etching.

@Dark Rage

Thanks. I'll bring the Land raider soon.

@The_Chaplain

Dear GW. Please hire me!

Really appreciate your praise. I thinks, Special character need more 'special'.

@Cain21

Haha, wait for me. I planned some 'plastic honour guard project'...

@geektom

Thanks for visiting. Your comment is lot for me.

@Maerlen

@Dark Scipio

@Brandonmon47

Of course, brother! I gladly visit there!

@Olisredan

You want some old WIP pic? I'll bring it that.

How the devil did you model him crouching?! That grey primer is hiding all the mystery!

Here is the secret

yes, Lot of Putty

Your last two posts have made me very happy - that Ultramarine looks smashing and the Raven Guard still in it's 'green phase' is the sort of picture I highly prize. It allows you to see the what and the how of a creation. :tu:

Just awesome work on the Raven Guard. When I saw the model at the top of the page, I spent several minutes trying to figure out all the pcs thinking conversion. Gave up & scrolled down & saw the sculpt pics. Just wicked. Gotta agree with the others. You nailed that pose dead on. And thank you for the pics before basing. Clears things up for me. I might even try something MUCH MORE BASIC. Please keep it up. Looking forward to seeing more.

@Olisredan

I really glad to like the green stuff. Usually I don't like using lot of greenstuff but Shrike is no other way.

But still, that is pretty nice result - I think. Thanks for your comment!

@MagicMan, deathspectersgt7

Thanks! That is really cheerful.

Everyone like Shrike - but Tac marine is pretty fine for me. Once again, Thanks!

@geektom

I really like somekind 'Move' or 'during Action' pose.

Because I'been playing Wargame and my model is 'fight on the field'.

So they do something 'in the action' or at least preparing the action.

Your word is very kind. That lot to me. Thanks, geektom

@Midnight Runner

I hope bring some more work. Thanks for visiting.

@Rift Blade

Haha. I love wicked. Actually, my second nickname on web is "Evil Lord of Pumpkin" lol

Anyway thanks for your comment. I'll promise work hard more.

Not my preferred painting style, but you've done a good job, he looks great. And the OSL - finally OSL on eyes that only shines down! It's so nice to see realistic OSL, rather than light that defies the laws of physics :).

Wow, great work on that Raven Guard! Any chance that we can see a similar "green" picture of your Calgar please? smile.png

(Edit: Oh, how I *hate* the way that quotes work on this board... dry.png )

Ah, didn't know TDA Gauntlets would suit him in PA too. Thought it might be too big for him, but lo! looks awesome. Are you planning to work on other SCs?

Also, am I seeing a Korvydae half?

Yes, you are.

I'm working on Sicarius, and planning Tigrius and Casiuss

Perfect, thanks! Really helpful to see how you "modernised" him! msn-wink.gif

Hello, guys. Today, I bring some new one.

I'm working on Stormtalon. Because this Christmas season pack 'Adeptus Astartes Storm WIngs', I'll plan 3 Stormtalon & 1 Stormraven unit.

4 flyer flying over the field, and straffing using lot of bullet - I think that is really awesome picture.

Honestly, I don't using them. Maybe 1-2, but definitely not 4. But so what! Flyer unit is just look amazing, isn't it?

So here is my first WIP, Stormtalon cockpit.

Sadly when I put the canopy on to them, my hard work just look like basecoating...

But still I happy the result. Thanks for watching, see ya!

Looks good so far. I have the same problem with my Fire Raptor. The techmarine pilot took me a good four hours to paint, and now you can't see him at all!

Question: Have you magnetized the weapons so you can switch them up for different battles? Might be something to look into so you have all the tactical bases covered!

I know your feelings about the cockpit. I've been working away on mine, and although it's not as detailed as yours it's still taken a lot of time. And then the canopy just kills off any detail! But at least you know you've done everything to your best!

Forgive me of thread necromancy, but I just found this thread and truly love your Calgar conversion. I have to ask how did you fit the shoulder pads onto the arm?

LONG TIME NO SEE, BATTLE-BROTHER.

Etzchayim is back! It's almost 2 years. Sorry for long absence.

Even I'm resting on 2 years, I still don't giving up for my reconstruct 2nd Company project.

and Today, I'll show you my Chapter Master, Calgar.

Yes - I know it's already posted. And yes, I know he's not 2nd Company.

But this version is repainted, on the new base, and add some few detail.

On 2 years, My style of painted became little different and I want my Calgar being first of new step.

Here is the result.

And - Time to meet my new Sicarius.

Honestly, I'm not happy of my old Sicarius, even that is 3rd version..

So I started this conversion project long time ago, and recent day new Space Marine model make it perfect.

Not painted yet, but I'll painted as soon as I can.

I know Sicarius's rule is not well, but still I love it.

Remarkable Commander, Competitive Swordman, and Battle-forged Hero. How can't I love with him?

But think about old(yes, original GW's) model. He just stand like some statue. Even he's put sheathe the sword and pistol !

I think he is front line commander(Yes, represented "Battle-forged Hero"), not some parade leader.

So I begin conversion project, AGAIN.

This time, is really hard and need really lot of time. Too many part, too many effort...

I want he's posing is dynamic, like slashing his sword.

Result is pretty good.

Actually I'm content with my new Sicarius. He is dynamic, poweful, and ornate as much as he's original model.

I hope you like it!

Amazing work on all your models etzchavim.  That is one of the nice things about Ultramarines, and specifically 2nd Co. is that they had that picture in a few codexes ago of the whole company.  Equipment, armour, personal heraldry.  If you take this to the next level and recreate it to it's fullest, not only do you get an awesome fighting force now with the new edition, but you'll have an amazing looking army with fully converted hqs to give it more character.  Look forward to seeing more.
