Just yes.....full of so much win, I love it. Better than the original GW model or should I say current sicarius model.

Also thank you for the comments on my scythes, keep your eyes on my thread as my sicarius count as is almost complete.

Oh and thirdly.....your calgar in PA.....I wish to replicate that in some way but obviously my own touch and scythey lol

Hello, Battle-brother! Long time no see. 

 

I had pretty busy but my ultramarine project is still on-going. 

Recently, I expand my project to 1st, 4th and Chapter Command not only 2nd. 

 

So here is my example.

These guys is Honour Guards from Chapter Commands. 

Ultramarine has 27 Honour Guards not like other chapter, so my plan is collecting 27 model.

 

So now on, My Ultramarine project's states. 

 

Chapter Command - Chapter Master Marneus Calgar is Complete convert and painting. 20 Honour Guard is Complete assembled. 

1st Comapny - Captain Agemman, 30 Sternguard, 10 Terminator is Complete assembled. 

2nd Company - Captain Sicarius is Complete convert and painting. 40 Tactical, 10 Assault, 10 Devastator, 5 Command is Complete assembled. 

4th Comapny - Captain Uriel is Working in Progress(Conversion).

Sicarius turned out great! I really like the dynamic pose you modeled him in.

Looking forward to seeing more of the honor guard too!

Great use of the Suzerains as 40k Honour Guard, although the price of 27 of them makes me cringe a little!

Okay, Brothers! Here is next my conversion work. 

Uriel Ventris, Captain of the 4th Company - and really badass of Ultramarine!

 

Making Ventris is pretty tough job. Not like Sicraius or Calgar, he had no specific set of armor. 

Every artwork of Uriel is keep changing. Sometime he got bolter and sword, next time he got pistol and sword, sometime is MK  7 and next is MK 8... 

 

So I need my 'model image'. I choose this.

Because it is artwork of 'Chapter's Due - the last book of Uriel's book', I assume that image is status of returned Captain. 

Most difficult part is his knee pad. That look like shield.. and right knee has skull image.

But maybe you already know that, Plastic Space Marine does not had shield-like knee pad model.... wait, no. There is one. 

 

So I made this. Take a look!

I want him look like 'on-going-slash' pose for making contrast with my Sicarius. 

When I work this model, I'm keep in mind some scene of 'Chapter's Due'. For my another long-term small diorama plan. 

 

That scene is Battle of Ventanus's tomb. Uriel swing his sword aimed Honsou's neck - but Honsou hold that attack with his necron-metal right arm. 

So naturally, I had another job ! Making Honsou(defence pose)... I'm not used to making Chaos but I'll try. 

 

 

So now on, My Ultramarine project's states.

You sincerely make me regret every time I scoffed at the Ultramarines. You are doing them great justice with these awesome minis.

I also cannot wait to see your take on Honsou. Even though he is a mongrel...

Brilliant pose brother, I'd love to see you do the 1st captain too so you'll have sicarius, ventris and agemman all together

It is sad... until then, I'll finished my 20 tactical marine for 2nd.

Great work (and nice haircut) on that captain thumbsup.gif ... and looking forward to seeing honsou with the necron arm

Brilliant looking Ultramarines brother, I have to say you do them justice (especially the Sicarius model). As for parts recommendations, I think Reaper's Heroic sculpting armatures are pretty close to what you're looking for. http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/armature/sku-down/75004

The only downside is they're a little pricey, and for one part in particular.

 

Look forward to seeing your rendition of Honsou. Keep up the good work :)

Long time no see, Brothers!

Today, I bring some big model. Well, you know... that Ulramarine's model with huge marble base.. You know who I'm talking. 

 

Yes, Roboute Guilliman. Our Primarch! 

Sadly it is not my model. Just commission work.

But I love our Primarch model so I bring extra hard painting on him.

 

Most difficult part is definitely marble base. 

I never been painting marble until this model, so I'm very afraid to ruin this model. (You know.. Primarch model is pretty expensive) 

But overall it's not bad, I think. Not bad.
