Love your 'Raven man, BIG kudos  great painting, and the canopy really works well.

Great looking Scars, too; all to your high standard :smile.: Where is the Khan's spear had from?

The Spear is the Force Halberd from the BA Librarian/Furioso/Death Company Dreadnought kit. It's used partly due to my limited/lazy kitbash skills, partly to make the Chapter Master stand out even more, and partially to represent the kind of thing that slays greater daemons and wraithknights and such.

Also painted for Indy an Inquisitorial Stormtrooper. Indy came up with the concept for the scheme which was inspired by the Weyland Yutani Commandos from Alien 3, which their off-white armour and creepy, faceless aspect.

And coming soon, Captain of the 2nd, Aphael. All my company-specific marines are denoted as 2nd Company so when Aphael started getting depiction in books I planned to build a model to represent him. Then I saw Blindhamster's awesome rendition, realised I would never be able to make one as good, and asked him if he would make one for me. Make one he did, and here he is!

An extensive bits list as well as some custom sculpting (including a cast of the head-and-hair from Blindhamster's original). Ignore the odd whitish bits that look like super glue crazing – I started priming him with grey then realised I should take pics before to show the green stuff parts.

Thanks guys!

Captain Aphael was built for me by fellow frater Blindhamster, whose blog on here you should definitely check out if you haven't already! The cape is the FW Loken one and the hair, tabard and left leg detail were all custom sculpted by him.

... :jawdrop:  Dude, your Blood Angels are absolutely amazing! Words can't fully express my amazement at your work. I especially like your Sanguinary Priest with the robes; if you don't mind, I may steal that idea for my own Priests. :whistling: :smile.:

Thanks for the kind words Brother Mikael!

Do you mean the Priest made from Dark Angel Veteran bits? If so I stole that idea myself so pay it forward I say! :biggrin.:

I'm guessing so; it's the one in the third and fourth photos in your op.

No, sorry, this one uses Dark Angels Veteran bits:

And this one is (mainly) the Sanguinary Priest kit:

Ah, ok. Out of curiosity, how many (and which) pieces does the new Priest kit come in? I like the model in general, but if the arms don't separate, I'll probably just use one for my Corbulo.

Arms are both separate bits, though the legs and torso are all one assembly

As CaptainHelion said. The left arm on mine is not the one that comes with the kit, it's magnetised. Right hand also magnetised.

Fantastic! The arms are what I was worried about the most. I really do like the model, and was hoping I'd be able to use it for more than just a counts-as Corbulo. Not really a huge concern here, but is the head also already attached to the model, or is it separate as well?

Ha thanks abadizzle! I started on Aphael today in fact, along with a tactical squad, assault marine squad, Death Company squad and two Dreadnoughts! I'm also painting another Mephiston and there are plenty more in the queue behind...

@ Mikael the head is also separate so no worries there. If you go to the GW website there should be a picture of the sprue..?
