Ah yes, well good news that was quite simple:

 

1. Prime grey

2. Basecoat Vallejo Model Air Yellow (airbrush)

3. Shade GW Ogryn Flesh (or whatever the new flesh wash is called I guess)

4. Edge highlight Vallejo Model Color 016 Golden Yellow

How on earth did you get your drybrushing so smooth on those death company? I tried drybrushing and it came out horrible. Those are fantastic Blood Angels, the Death Company in particular for me.

The trick was doing it lightly and progressively with colours that are each only slightly lighter than the previous. And the finishing touch was a heavy wash of Nuln Oil to tone it all down.

Finished up the Land Raider and took some pics this morning. Now I need to paint another 5 Death Company so I can fill it to the brim with ferocious madmen!

Looks great! Very nice weathering and cool markings! My only nitpick is I'm not a big fan of the OSL from the headlights on the sloped armor, but that's probably more of a taste thing.

Tycho is a really nice conversion and they both have an excellent paint job.

Awesome paintjob on both models. The Tycho kitbash is great as well, and I still like that old Chaplain. He could just use a chapter symbol somewhere.

@ Quixus I hadn't thought about a chapter symbol. There isn't really much space on the model, except maybe on the scroll between his legs or a very small blood drop on his left shoulder next to the crux terminatus...

It would wastes some of the detail of the model, but you could probably greenstuff a blood drop out of the bones on the right shoulder pad. Instant BA symbol.

That could have been done if I'd removed the skeleton, but this is the old metal one so would have been a bit of a ball ache!

Such a classic model.  That terminator is easily among the top 5 marines GW ever sculpted.  THe paintjob certainly does it justice.  You have a very strange version of gold going on there, too.  Very yellow.  It works though.

@ Firepower, the gold is quite yellow. I painted these a while ago, from memory I used P3 Solid Gold which is more yellow than, say, GW Shining Gold.
