Honestly while Konrad's body is one of the coolest looking armors in 30k (IMO), the head looks a bit off, especially the hair (from what I've seen the hair is a seperate part that you have to glue on). It just looks like a wig. I've seen a few paint-jobs soo good that they made it look OK, but if I ever get my hands on the miniature I'll probably use one of the raptor helmets (they are soooooo cool) or the to greenstuff something while using a generic baldy head fom a random HH set.

So I fell in love with the Night Lords again. After a hiatus where I've considered just about every army I finally came back to the boys in blue after watching Game of Thrones.

 

Two words Ladies and Gentleman: House Bolton. I know Martin was supposed to make hate these what with there flaying of people and downright unpleastiness but I love these guys. I know what my company banner will have on it now!

 

I'm suprised these guys are still with the Starks. Most honorable paired up with pretty much deranged psychopaths. Apparently these guys throw a curve ball don't know what though!

 

All in all I realized why I love the night lords so much.

So I fell in love with the Night Lords again. After a hiatus where I've considered just about every army I finally came back to the boys in blue after watching Game of Thrones.

 

Two words Ladies and Gentleman: House Bolton. I know Martin was supposed to make hate these what with there flaying of people and downright unpleastiness but I love these guys. I know what my company banner will have on it now!

Greetings, brothers.

 

It has been some time since I last visited the skinning pits and oh how I've missed it!

 

Life has a funny way of getting in the way of things between other hobbies etc...but hopefully I'll be back for longer this time. Now that racecar season is winding down I find myself having more time to devote to the hobby again.

 

I've missed this lot of killers.

I will be returning soon - by painting a squad of havocs with four lascannon. I've been proxying this squad with four missile launchers for over a year now, and I'm sick of it! Also, I got my hands of two sets of each of these....

I also return Brothers,

 

Life, AoS and other distractions got me good but alas you can never keep a good psycho down. I will be starting small this time with another crack at Bleeding Eyes this time with a Kill Team as I finally have a game club to play at!

 

So while I await my 10 4th edition Raptor miniatures and bits to arrive I ask advice on my pack formations. You know just to make sure my blades haven't lost there edge.

Yeah, that's the bit. I've just scraped off the Minotaur iconography and added skulls from one of the old chaos champion helmets (You can't see them from this angle). I'll post better picture's when I'm done :)

Is there place for another Brother...?

 

Let me introduce myself. My name is Vissah and I been playing 40K for about 10 years now and still loving it, well not the big battle but the smaller ones were always my favorite.

I moved to Japan 1,5 years ago and since then I am only playing the smaller games and specially Kill Team. Now ever since I read the Night Lords Trilogy many years ago when they came out I fell in love with the Night Lords, before that I thought they were just really cool. Since I did not had a lot of money back then I always stayed with my Chaos Army but I did not have the funds to make a Night Lords army.

After some years of not playing that much other then the occasional Kill Team I decided to remake my old Kill Team, that I lost during the move, as a Night Lords Kill Team, I always envisioned them more like Kill Teams then big armies, so I got myself some paint and a box of Chaos Marines and I went to town.

I am only playing smaller games now because of time, work, reall life you all know what I am talking about and with smaller games you can play more in the time you have.

I also recently started reading the Trilogy again, they are the only 40K books that I brought with me :biggrin.:, and it is just the best 40K story I ever read and I read a lot of them.

 

Mind you that I do not have all my bits anymore cause I could not bring everything during the immigration and gave a lot to my friends so I will have to do with what I could bring.

 

Anyway I am very losely basing them on First Claw ofcourse because those guys are the best I ever read about.

Morning all. I started a small Night Lord's Heresy force the other day and wanted to share them here for all you folks to comment and critique. Who better to tell me what I need to add, remove or do more of to make them look good then you guys and girls.
