It would be cool if they gave us the genestealer ambush rule. Otherwise leadership decreases, and something for assualt would be cool. Allowing us to not accept challenges, let us fail morale whenever called to take it, and something with night fight he.

Perhaps I'll even come back to my brothers of the VIII with this release... it's been far too long since I've stood, in midnight clad.

Once midnight clad, always midnight clad. It just simply covers your soul instead of your armor.

I'm not sure we need terror squads. By this millennium basically every squad is a terror squad :p

Fast Attack and Heavy Support, there ya go Auggi :D

Well, Talos and Co threw on Jump Packs in the audio drama/short story Throne of Lies so since every Night Lord is already a friggin Raptor, I don't think we need those guys getting anymore representation. There's already a cookie cutter list Raptor formation.

The VIII Legion has more to offer than friggin jump packs.

@Augustus: simple question of personnal preferences: it's harder to contest a draw with a power dagger in your kidney... ^^ Headbutting is nice also but I find it less... artistic.

I get that, of course. But you do know where the headbutting reference comes from don´t you? I think it trumps the backstabby Night Lords stereotype. Besides, we can leave artistry to the III or the IX.

Hum... Let's say this reference comes from a wonderful trilogy that every warrior pretending to stand in midnight clad should know by heart. ^^

Back on the initial question: our Brother Nihm has a good point. Besides any special or universal rule transferred as a basic for Night Lords' Legion Traits/Tactics I think it might be interesteing to consider something that allows our Legionaries to maximize their impact during any first round while in CC with a combination of raw power (Chainglaives?) and some rule involving fear.

Wishlisting rules is cool and everything, but guys and gals, has anybody ever come across these on eBay?

It's not allowed to post links to eBay on the site. SO if yuo want to take a look, they're sold by warex-mini.

I'm ordering two sets for my Chaos Knight and some rhino's.... :D

Seen them around...been tempted. Only problem for me is they look rather medium quality tbh. Also it's a pain to get a flat surface large enough to put one on. It's on the list of 'to buy' along with the 3rd company NL upgrade parts

Those corpses can be bought from a company called wargame exclusive WARNING NSFW https://wargameexclusive.com. Some nice bits on there along with the usual nsfw overly feminised under dressed figures you often find on third party sites. They also do the resin limo for GSC.

Has anyone tried using secretweaponminiatures corpse fields bases, making copies/press molds of the corpses in particular? Think it might work well. Also, for anyone who didn't know, they also do an awesome actual corpse bag, if the price is a bit steep.

I've used a couple of those secret weapon corpse sets on a predator, a rhino and on my warhound in the past, and wish that I had thought of press-moulding the parts back then. As you say, the price is a bit steep. Using pressmoulds on them is a great idea, and also on the bases!
