I, Plague of Sedition, stand in midnight clad.

XXXVth coy, VIIIth Legion "The Claws of Sedition", commanded (for now) by Veer Zhoste, stand ready to strike from the shadows against the lap-dogs of the false emperor.

Let none stand in our way (well you can try but we'll do our best to sneak up from behind).

So, that is my pledge to honour the memory of the Night Haunter. I have nothing but my attempt at First Claw to show. You can see the gallery linked in my sig.

I plan to take this up to a full army, unsure of pts value yet, I intend to stay away from too many obviously demonic bits.

I will provide back story as each Claw materialises.

So that's my commencement into darkness. As an aside, isn't that new FW NL contemptor freaking awesome?!

I only have two finished and one WIP! I can't promise the SoH, IW and NL ones won't be added, but still. I won't shank incinerator - if the model doesn't rattle his chains, who am I to judge that? I personally love the contemptor model, but you know: to each his own :biggrin.:

I can understand Incinerator a bit. Personally, when I first saw the basic design, I thought it was butt ugly. Still do. Some of the Legion specific ones are nice. But personally, as an unconverted model, I absolutely would take Forgeworld's WB and NL PlainDreads over a Contemptor any day of the week.

But I am a big fan of te NL Cont. Have high hopes for the WB one.

Nonsense. I have as much understanding of myself as Changers of Ways understand Tzeentch.

Also, blast this topic thrice for more maddening ideas.

Since my regular opponent is moving away just in time for my man cave to be up and running again, I am free to work multiple projects without worrying about pesky things like finished, playable armies...

So I am embracing the VIII again and proudly stand in midnight clad.

. Expect incomming fluff to follow ( 21st Company was still open last time I checked?)

My Lord,

At your request, I have attempted to compile information on the archenemical forces known as the "Wraithborn" and their thrice-cursed leader, one Ashiroth Narakyr.

The Wraithborn are mentioned as the 21st Company, VIII Legio Astartes in early records of the Great Crusade. It is unclear from these fragments if the term refers to the 21st company as a whole or to a specialist formation inside said company. Wraithborn forces were apparently foremost void warfare specialist, highly adept at raiding Habitats and boarding actions. Based on a raiding force centered around the Strike Cruiser "Asphyxia's Call", which appears as a Styx Class hull modified for Astartes Operation in restricted Apocrypha of the Saturnine Shipyards, they were involved in the early expansions into the Seqmentum Solar. Fragments hint at involvement with socalled "nomad predation fleets" in the vanguard of crusade forces, but are not clearly defined. Interactions seem to have occured with the nascent XIX Legio, but to what extension is unclear. Later crusade actions are better traceable. Wraithborn forces were apparently involved in the Castigation of Terentius along the Sons of Horus, Alpha Legion and Iron Hands. They were allowed to include the Terran Eye in their standard (which they apparently used primarily to vexx more "civilised"legions) and were recorded in comments by the Gorgon as "voidcold in their approach yet given to overstepping the boundaries from neccessarily cruel to playfully depraved". Post this campaign, Wraithborn were noted for an unusual rise in the number of Tactical Dreadnought Armour deployed among their number although these seemed not related to the infamous Terminators of the 1st Company.

At Istvaan, Wraithborn fought at the Dropsite Massacre and in the skies above. The Asphyxia's Call is counted in the grudges of the Salamanders for numerous boarding actions against their vessels, apparently with the expressive purpose oft slaughtering their mortal serfs and exploiting the Salamanders' compassion for these poor souls to spread despair and set up ambushes and slaughter them inside their own hulls.

After the betrayal, they ....x

I still don't trust him..... -__-

Come to think of it, I don't trust many people. Especially those of the midnight clad. So welcome aboard!

Well to be fair to Xin, there seems to be enough Night Lords on the BnC to match the Ultramarines Legion so it's easy to get the two mixed up... :D

It would be a little weird if you did. What are we, Imperial Fists? Trust is the first step on the road to getting stabbed easier than most. :p

Hi All,

I "Raided a loyalist power armor facility" and am currently painting the roses blue.  :teehee:

Does anyone have an suggestions for quick an easy conversion for Loyalist Space Marine helmets to more Chaos Night Lords looking helmets?

Other then making an arrow out of the plume, ....."attempting" some greenstuff horns :wallbash:and the painted skull face mask, I am at a loss.
