Hey brothers and sisters,

Recently I have been spending more time with the Iron Tenth, but I gave not turned my back from the VIIIth. My Night Lords have been pushed to side project, but I feel they will be better for it. Why? I have decided the VIIIth are perfect for dream of an all terminator Army. I have already started on my Praetor, and I have 10 Cataphractii Terminators ready to be assembled. I plan to add other terminator marks as well. So when I return it will as a walking tank of death.

Well, they won't necessarily be all Altramentar, as they are just the first company. This will be a company that specialises in heavy assaults so specialises in TDA warfare.

Saying that if they bring out Sevetar I willed getting him, and I will happily add the first company to mine.

WIP shots I'll happen, only just started hacking up models :)

Oh I will. He is far to cool not to have. Hope the model lives up to his background but I sure it will.

Ok the Praetor has been put together and is ready for gs treatment later. Need to build a really cool chainglaive, unfortunately I used my FW one making a cool weapon for my Iron Hands.

I think i own you some actual pics of 5th Company

Forgive me if it's already been discussed before but; in a sleepyness fueled haze, the name Nostramo made me immediately think about Nostradamus - A french guy (not the same french as I :P ) who could "see into the future". Talk about another case of GW being not-so-subtle... >_>

Possibly, but I would say it's more to do with the novel Nostromo by Joseph Conrad, from whom the Primarch gets his name. The novel contains a character who was thought incorruptible, kept a dark secret, and, due to the resentment of not getting the recognition he thought he deserved, became bitter and corrupted, which lead to his destruction.

Oh no doubt, I knew about that already. This just gave it a new angle with Konrads foresight and all that.

The thing with Nostradamus was that he was an apothecary, which is the opposite of what the planet it. And by that I mean, Nostramo is a human made deathworld, with the death part being caused by human nature. Also his prophecies have to be really really twisted to be seen as coming true. But it is similar, and the association is all that is needed.

What I like about Kurze is that he is a living embodiment of a self-fulfilling prophecy. 'I have seen myself die at the hands of my farther assassins, so I shall be a terror on the galaxy until he has no choice but to send the assassin'.

Always made me think of the starship from Ridley Scott's Aliens... but I think that was far less the intention however cool it would be.
