You could also add some soot to the exhausts. Other that that I think it looks great, right amount of trophies and the bits of skin look awesome. Augustus b'Raass Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 Fracture! The Rhino looks great. I love how you made it evillll looking without going overboard. Also, good job on the weathering. I do agree with the comments about the highlighting though. I understand why you didn't do it too brightly - you don't want the tank to look too bright. But by adding fine highlights in colours that are brightier than what you THINK you're aiming for, in ACTUALITY you accentuate the darker colours. The best painting advice that I ever got was this: "paint what you want to see, not what you think you are going to see." So in stead of trying to paint what you see in real life, paint in a way that the miniature looks in real life. Realism on a miniature never looks real if you blow it up to real life proportions. Give it a try! And: the cool thing about f'ing up highlights is that you can easily repaint the darker colour and try again: you can always go back to the original if you don't like your work, so no risk there! Whilst work hasn't totally ground to a halt I've not been massively productive due to new kitten and Titanfall etc I've only got a small update. First of I've finished some scouts. These unfortunately became a bit of a chore so they're maybe not as great as they could of been. Background wise I'm thinking these aren't actually full marines.
