So I tried the nephillim I managed to take out the hell drake with 6 black strike missiles in turn 3 and took down a LR in turn 4 before having a deamon prince vector strike me to the ground

Umm flyers can only shoot 4 weapons a turn. How did you fire all six missiles since each counts as one?

Cmon guys.. nobody want to try the Nephilim?

So far 2 of them managed to kill 1 Vindicator, 9 boyz and 4 ork bikes. Add your numbers to the tally! Ravenwing needs you!!!

 

I'll try it in a game this week.

Might get a last minute game in before this ends. Didn't vow because I didn't know about this tread till now Doh! However in two games since January he's managed to kill a Night Scythe (absolute luck) a Necron Warrior Squad of 10 and then murder a Termagant squad of 12 and a Tervigon. All with AMB for me. Does ok and looks good so I will be bringing more. Sorry no pics to add since I didn't know but I will def for the next game (not sure if you are going to add it to the tally Lucifer). Also why haven't I seen more on this thread? If I had but known! Next unit to bring to bear upon our poor pitiful foes?

Sorry but you do have to supply pics. I know it sucks but it's for a good reason.. but what counts is that you're willing to participate.

I plan on a Nephilim tactica after this is over so you're invited to chip in when it goes online. Next unit will be known in one week.

Allied with an IH player, I've faced a IG/ Nids alliance.

 

The Nephilim entered at turn 3. He managed to make 1W to the Hive Tyrant and make him crashdown. Unfortunately this was not enough because the sons of medusa didn't manage to profit from the occasion for neutralizing the beast. A message of complaint has been sent to the council of Medusa.

I would like also to report the presence of Fallen 001 among the enemy's forces. Please note that despite locked target confirmation, the fallen managed to escape being hit (6Wi inflicted, 6 cover saves succeeded at 3+), he then vanished unfortunately.

Okay, these are the final hours, if someone still needs to wrap up a battle report they still have time until tomorrow when this challenge is formally closed and results are displayed. Then two new threads will open: The second challenge that will be on DA scouts and a Nephilim Tactica.

Brother Dean checking in.

 

Had two honor duels with my wolfbrother this weekend. Lost both but the first list was a mish mash of units I decided it was time to try... And he wanted to try his new Knight "Jon".

Mostly a conventional forces list. Tacticals, with a DWK squad in LRC, vet squad in a pod and the Neph armed with Lascannon. Nephilim came in third turn.

before going into ongoing reserves and coming back on turn 5 to try (and fail) another pop at the Knight...

2nd Game was an almost pure RW game with said Vets in a pod and a backup DW squad. He changed up his list, took out the WG in the Damocles for two more Grey hunter squads.

Nephilim then proceded to pop a couple rhinos but it wasnt enough to keep me in the game.

 

Two hard fought losses but mostly it was my rolling that cursed me all round.

In total they managed to kill 1 Vindicator, 1 Dreadnought, 1 Hammerhead, 3 Tau pathfinders,  9 boyz ,4 ork bikes and hullpoints of 2 vehicles..
1 W of Hyve tyrant, 2 long fangs, 2 Rhinos.

7 games:

Avoghai: AMB: 9 boyz, 4 ork bikes, 1 Wound of Hyve tyrant
Chaplain Lucifer: AMB: 1 Vindicator
Captain sox: TL: 1 Dreadnought, 2 Hull points of StormRaven.
Cardinal virtue: TL Hammerhead, 3 Tau pathfinders, Hull of devilfish
Brother Dean: TL :2 long Fangs, 2 Rhinos

 

Tank hunter prize goes to Brother Dean for 2 vehicles in total.

Master Avoghai gets Infantry Mower prize for 14 wounds inflicted!

Survivor prize goes to Brother Dean since his Nephilim fighter survived most turns in the game.
