WiP: The Fallen "A hunt for robes"

I don't claim to be a profressional in thie feild, but having done my first robe I feel quite confident in attending to a few more that need doing in my squad.

My suggestion is this:

Base the robe black, then base it a dark brown and slowly work that brown up in shades until you reach a bleched bone color. I know it sounds tedious and a lot of work, but really it isn't, and being patient and taking your time to apply 4-5-6 shades of brown to bone is totally worth it with the result.

Do it, once, and use the paints quite watered down to have a little transparency. It makes so much of a difference to help the colors seamlessly blend together!

I will keep the Upper Part, because i think, that the true metallic Look suite the fallen. Still a Lot of enhancements to do, there is no Detail Highlighting and the army Symbol isn't finished, but you Could See, where it Leads to.

Lower Body:

For the lower Body section.... In my eyes absolutely awful. Have to Start over with a new lower Body and this time i try feathering and blending instead of drybrushing. Always Open for a good tutorial :)

Some wonderful conversions, here, mate. Keep it up. It's been a while, but I always started my torsos with a light brown/camo color and worked up from there, bone, etc. I only used white at the very end. Hope it helped. Cheers.
