Slowest burn plog in the universe

Hello! Just a thread for whatever I'm working on currently. This will mostly be Dark Angels successors, with some CSM and IG at some point. To start off though, and inquisitor to ally in, because you can never have enough prescience and servoskulls!

Started off with a pile of bits, and after about half an hour ended up with this.

Then my daughter started getting grumpy and started the bedtime routine, drat. The intention was that he would be resting his empty hand on the haft of a force axe. Afterwards I remembered though that the inquisition codex specifies force sword. Oh well. This morning during her nap though I was able to make some more progress!

Pretty much done, one power armor inquisitor with hellgun. Just a quick chop and glue conversion to make something playable, ignored all the gaps basically, since anything major was about covered up by the cape and loincloth. Made his servoskulls too! Family photo time!

I've since gotten them primed. I'm probably going to spend more time on later inquisitors, pretty fun to design, since they're so individualistic. I'm also in the process of stripping and redoing my Dark Angels as a successor chapter because why not, building a small CSM army, and making some second hand IG not look awful...or that's the intention. Not much free time, so I gotta make it all count!

I do really like the chaos warrior parts. If you remove any chaos arrows you might find, they're just dark enough to make a figure look sinister without looking overtly chaos-y.

Got a little paint on him today, about half way there, hoping to have him tabletop ready tomorrow! We'll see if this thread actually works to keep me motivated enough to actually work on things consistently...
