helterskelter
Very nice blue, and some very well done lightning you have here. May invest in those anvil chainglaives myself. You have certainly got a sizeable force to paint! Monstra Sumus
Fantastic stuff here Armond, that's an awful lot of resin, I don't envy you cleaning all of that! The multi melta is identical to one I built in my own Marines Malevolent force, lovely stuff, I also did some homebrew lascannon, not gone for plasma yet. Armond
Thanks much Tyrax! Yah, cleaning it is the horrible part, not fun. But I am doing it in squads. I have my first tactical squad, the heavy support squad, and something else cleaned up and ready to be filed/assembled. Plus I am an idiot. I think for the NL Sergeant, when I purchased the chainglaive for him, he loses his bolter. So I need to probably cut that off... Darn it. Can someone verify for me? I have the HH book(I think it is in Massacre) but I want to make sure I am not missing something. Glad my NLs are getting a good reception. I will be bouncing back and forth between SP and NL. Currently I am caught up in the NLs. Armond
Not Done, he is almost fully magnetized. I kept the leg at a very at ease position, I wanted my first Contemptor to be set up for a more mid-range support, especially once I get the second Kheres Assault Cannon put together(Mortis anyone?). He is not done, more putty and conversion work to do. . Contemptor Brother Armand "The Hulking Shadow" former Captain of in the 37th Chapter of the VIII Legion. Gifted wargear: Taloned Contemptor Dreadnought close combat weapon with Plasma ejector and Kheres Pattern Assault Cannon. Adorned with the Legion crest, his battle honors number many. C&C welcome, just realize his :"static" pose is on purpose, he is no hurry to deal death. Armond
Wish I could say I did sculpt it lol, I used some quick blue mold or whatever it is called and used the land raider doors as the piece to copy. ;) glad you all like Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288067-executioners-1850-points-completed-100915/page/5/#findComment-3651513 Share on other sites

Armond
Glad it did too! I have some skulls and some jeweler's chains to create something. I will also be probably making some type of ragged tabard to paint some type of symbol/picture on for his waist. Armond
Cannot wait to see your's Heinrich! Well here is more work done to it! Haven't finished it though, keep that in mind! The Axe heraldry on Armand's right shin indicates his status as a once executioner for the Legion, tasked with carrying out the death of those who are marked in red when called upon by the word of of the VIII Legion's Primarch, The Night Haunter, Konrad Curze. On his left calf plate is a scroll ingrained into his armor with the High Gothic word "Umbrae," which symbolizes the deepest of shadows. This honor marks the Contemptor Dreadnought's success, before his entombment, as one of the most skilled of members in the ranks of the Terror Squads; such an honor is bestowed when a Legion member of the Night Lord's ascends beyond that elite brotherhood of terror and into the circle of confidants of the 37th Chapter's Captain. Hope you like! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288067-executioners-1850-points-completed-100915/page/5/#findComment-3651872 Share on other sites

Armond
Thanks man! Glad you think so! I also started on the first 5 members of the tactical squad, I mean started assembling them. But I was so sucked in by the contemptor and filling some of the white space I got a little busy with him haha. I only got the legs and torsos of the first five glued together and put on bases. All is well though, will wrap up the contemptor soon enough, I also have a little extra to throw on the contemptor, something to do with a few skulls and chains, and some more putty. Armond
And some more. Basically this guy is about 95% done in terms of assembly. I am still trying to work out something to do with chains/skulls. Just deciding how to execute and where. Disassembled, smallest break down here: His newest add-ons: Profile of a Legion symbol on his left arm, and a wing with lightning bolts beneath(hard to tell, will have to paint) to honor the Unification Wars. Annnnnd photo shoot: Enjoy, C&C is always welcome!
