...but blood - blood is forever

fantastic... everything! The base is so dynamic, and that's exactly how I pictured the grappling claw!

That base scene though, it really captures the scale of the Warhound. Your weathering powder bases are so fantastic, do you have to use a lot of powder to achieve that effect, and do you ever find sealing the model with a matte finish (if you do that) robs the powder of some of its lustre?

Poom I would just like to say that I have been following your work on the World Eaters and Redjak cult since you started and they have been massively inspiring to me. That warhound is the best Titan I have ever seen, the colour scheme, the mixing of chaos and loyalist parts, the base. It's perfect.

Absolutely superlative work. If there's a flaw I haven't spotted it. The extra decorative touches are spot on, my favourite being the WE icon chowing down on the DA one.

Gotta say though I've enjoyed a little chuckle at the RG on the base. The one still on his feet looks like he's dragging his wounded comrade towards the behemoth before them, like he's saying 'Come on, dude, we've got this.'

Thanks guys! So happy you like her.

Here is btw also a comment from AD-B himself:

A real masterpiece, so great to see it finished. That wolf head on the banner rings a bell, where is it from?

It is based on a shield design from the city Solitude in the videogame Skyrim rolleyes.gif

Absolutely amazing!! All the banners and plaques, such as on the ember queens leg, did you freehand/ design them? Are they decals?

Either way this is a work of art!!

The banners I did in photoshop and printed them out. The plaque on the shin I printed out myself too on decal paper.

Yes, after sealing the model a lot of the effect gets lost. On the titan and the mechanicum units I aply extra pigments after the sealing. If you blow away any loose pigments and try not to touch the base to much its no problem.

I just went through all 17 pages of this thread and am simply in awe of all of your work done here. Everything is seriously incredible.

Did you ever finish that fire raptor?

No not jet.. like so many things I started.

Speaking of which.. a new Devoured:

Ah yes, of course, the shield of solitude! I knew it looked familiar :D

BTW, that devourer is wicked cool!

Which kit is that? I am not familiar with it..

It is the sergeant (Devoured) from a Forgeworld Red Butcher squad.

Indeed a very simple conversion, all I did was cut away the face and replace it with a helmet from another Butcher. Hand and hammer are from the Grey Knight terminators.

For the base I want a raven guy with a smashed in helmet and the Devoured standing over him pointing "You're next" biggrin.png
