Maybe a Belial too. Then there are the TDA Int-Chap and Libby too. Seeing as the Greenskins are further out than expected, I may be able to do that. What a coincidence! My lil' Watcher is also two-months old :D Signs. strange portents, something is coming, that's for sure... I'm going to paint (at last) a DWK 5-man unit (which is being glued as we speak) and as many DW Terminators as I can (if said Watcher will let me). And there's a metal termie chaplain lurking in the ''to-do box". Let's roll! JGeils81 Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 I have just spent the better part of 3 hours cleaning mold lines and flash from 20 DV termies and 5 DW Knights. Just need to work out the best way of converting the DV termies so it does not look like Attack of the Clones Shoot, I wish it only took me 3 hours...maybe I'm going too much in depth on the cleaning...but I hope they will look nice! I've yet to play a game of WH40k, but I'm working on my DAs from DV and bought some armor too(rhino and predator)! have the bike squad and termies from Dark Vengeance assembled/primed and ready to paint, and also a dread, and almost another tactical squad ready. I have a question though, I'm not exactly sure how to add up my points, I have the codex, and the way I figured it, the termies from DV would be...245 points? And the bike squad would be...95 points? they are straight from the DV box, so should have the same points for anyone that has them if unmodified correct? Just dont want to claim the wrong amount... Plus I have not decided how to kit out the Comd. Squad yet. There will definitely be a banner bearer and loads of special weapons. My DV termies where not too bad for mold lines. I still need to drill out the bolters and assault cannon. Some of them are even compulsory like Daemon Princes’ allegiances… A: Only upgrades that can be physically represented on the miniatures earn you points for the ETL! So Psychic Powers, extra Mastery Levels, Tank Hunters and such will not be counted. Now Marks of Chaos can in principle be represented on a mini through appropriate painting and modelling. So Marks of Chaos are allowed BUT bear in mind that the overriding principle of the ETL is to avoid “getting something for nothing” so you really need to make an effort an produce a convincing effect of the Mark you’re aiming for. We need some common sense and goodwill for that to work – it did work before, so let’s hope it will work again this year… I hope that answers the question.
