Since I haven't posted anything for a long time I thought it was time that I showed everyone that despite failing my ETLII and LPC 2013 vows I haven't actually been letting my dark angels gather dust.

 

Some of these pictures may look a little dark as I don't have any sort of photography set up.

 

Anyway here is the terminator librarian that I vowed for the LPC. Forget about the two things that I have just realized I have forgotten to paint.

And I think that just leaves one DV tac squad with sarge with bp/combi-plas and phobos pattern bp's for the whole squad (worn on the hip).

I have another DV tac squad to add pistols to and plenty of terminators still to paint while I buy the last bits to finish the other models off. Hopefully I will keep this updated semi regularly as I want to finally get this project finished.

If you go out and buy a box of veterans there is a book waist ornament in the box, take that ornament and place it on top of the guns on the Libby bike. It adds a nice touch to the bike and requires minimal effort

 

This is what I did to my libby. I made mine out of the Libby with staff and cherub and a ravenwing bike, I had to tear his robes off and then play with the staff a little but I got a workable result in the end, I didn't even need to reach for the ol green stuff

Liking the DV termy to Knight conversion and Mortis dreads.

 

The painted libby looks ace but for me his base has a bit too much height.

I did the base like that so he was the same height as the new plastic terminators but I may take him off of it because if I use him in games he will probably be in a metal terminator squad and won't need the height.

I like what you have done.  Especially the dreads.  The look of a well done DA army is in my opinion one of the most beautiful of all the armies of the Emperor.
