Love the horns and tail! My only bit of advice would be to support the horn/tail inside to save heartbreak in the future :smile.: If you're not already, I'd suggest forming the horns around a piece of wire (a bit of paper clip works nicely) drilled into the head. That way you can get the lengths of both just right, adjust to your heart's content, and then build the greenstuff up around a solid core, which'll help make them a bit more solid.

Thanks Apologist. It´s a great idea. It actually works better for me, in my approach of the hobby, to form them around a structure as you suggest.

Great tip! Thanks

Darth. Stop building such amazing creations. It's killing my hobby ADD

Slaneesh made me do it.

Thanks Forté

The more I work on a kit the more ideas I get. So I have other ideas I want to try on these girly demons.

These ones look too easy now.

I need suggestions to make them more complex. So shoot ideashttp://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy82/DarthMustard/daemonette04_zps5c5ba4ac.jpg

Is it just me, or do those horns remind anybody else of this guy?

Maybe you could build up the structure growing out of the skull for your daemonette like that on ol' Darkness.

Actually when I started to play with the idea of horns, I had Hell Boy long horns in mind

And then I started to twist the horns,

So this means that Darkness was deep down in my subconcious which implies that there is also Tom Cruise in shinny armor

And that's a scary thought !!!

:D

That can be arranged.

Nurgle is on my list :biggrin.:

Meg Mucklebones: What a fine fat boy you are, Jack!

Jack: You don't really mean to eat me, do you, ma'am?

Meg Mucklebones: Oh, indeed I do!

[cackles]

Jack: That would be a shame because someone as fair and lovely as yourself, Miss Meg, deserves far better than scrawny me. Don't you think?

Meg Mucklebones: Think me fair, do you, Jack?

Jack: All the heavenly angels must envy your beauty.

Meg Mucklebones: [cackles] What a fine meal you'll make, be the rest of you as sweet as your tongue!

[cackles]

Thanks Dorn

I might have a faster and stronger solution for the horns. I tried the paper clip technic.

I even have some pics to prove it but the size of paper clip would make difficult for the tip of the horn I thought.

What do you guyz think? 1 horn ? 2 ? symmetrical? asymmetrical ? long? short?

tentacle hair too?

sorry for the crapy photos. I was eager to share.

Even the harpy is hornier. She needs a tail too.

Any suggestions and advices?

Starting to work on the cultists again (shaved the back of one), now I have to find an idea for the vials. The talos´ones are quite big.
I also started to work on this cultist.

I actually dismantled it entirely, recenter the torso, fix the left arm shoulder, lowered the right one to not look too zombie like, add a las gun and reoriented the head.
A little gs to hide the cuts.
What do you think? should I had a shoulder pad?
Most of all, what you think of the back of the robe? should I had chains or hooks or details, sculpt some, leave it like that?

Thank you for you C&C and stopping by

I AM THE WAY...

Thanks guys :D

I think the back has to be busier. So hooks and hands

He is to be in a Inq28 mood so detailing will give him more "personality".

@ STD

woah the first picture is really close to my mini. Funny !

Actually the whole concept for that guy started with her (she´s next)

http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130325195119/warhammer40k/images/thumb/8/8d/Zealot_of_Slaanesh_Dave_Lim.jpg/289px-Zealot_of_Slaanesh_Dave_Lim.jpg

So following STD´s suggestions I added a few hooks and ... hand in the back

Tried also to sculpt a little bit of chainmail did not work as I planned (GS was too soft) to I´ll have to do that again or maybe hide it under impurity seals.

People on dakka suggested to fill the front skull saying that it was too much Iron Warriors alike

What about adding a Slaneesh symbol ?

Ideas, C&C?

Apart from his right nipple, there is something missing but I can see it yet.

cheers,

Must resist the temptation to try to build these now......... must resist........

Beautiful work all around. Really brings the "feel" of Dark Gods to life, if that makes any sense.

That latest cultist just screams out "Cenobite" (or Theologian of the Council as I still call them). Any chance you'll make a Sister Nikoletta (Falln) to go with him? As a despoiled SoB would be amazing LoL

Regardless, I'll be coming back to check in again and again I am sure. Simply fantastic work!

Thanks 200plus

My gang will included mostly female minis from now on.

I must confess that I never watch any hell raiser movies. I had to google  Sister Nikoletta :D

She doesn´t seem too much of stretch in terms of kitbashing

you havnt watched any of the movies :ohmy.::ohmy.::ohmy.::ohmy.::ohmy.: stop converting and download them right now -.-

for those who dont know who Sister Nikoletta is

I enjoyed the novella Hellbound Heart, but it was kind of abused by the movies. They were far more sinister in the book without the need the silliness that came in the movies. Again, I am really looking forward to seeing what you can come up with, as what you have done so far is superb.
