I just every of your post. I love your painting. I'm the kind of guy that likes stuff that are painted grimdark with some blanchitsu in between. Your stuff is very dark and nicely done. Keep up the good work, SOB are the best !

If that's hand-painted on that banner: wow. That's really neatly done. 

If it's a transfer on that banner: wow, that's neatly done, I have trouble getting them nice and flush on a marine shoulderpad, let alone a flowing banner like that!

 

Really looks very good, except for the base - which seems unfinished and lacking in depth. Looking at all your other models, it seems as if it truly is unfinished and will turn grey at a later date?

@vonny Transfer - I use Micro Sol and Micro Set - wonderful stuff softens the transfer so it relaxes into uneven shapes, you have to be careful but it does give that painted look, as for the base still needs doing ran out of grey but fancied painting the figure

It does indeed... with the Sororitas singing "Ave Imperator!" in counterpoint to the explosions.laugh.png

Silver is sprayed army painter plate mail, nuln oil wash, runefang steel to highlight

 

Gold same base with a watered auric gold wash, topped with auric then setraphim serpia washed

 

Hope that helps - its fairly simple to do but works

Little bit more work done, got to add some more sisters bits and need to get the hulls built on the other two

Really loving that paint scheme. Got a sorta functional, utilitarian look to it, but has enough heraldry to really "pop."

Thats very much what I wanted to achieve, that and I'm a lazy painter msn-wink.gif

Sometimes think less is more, if done to a contrasting degree

Limited time atm so just managed to add a bit bling to fronts and some decals, but nearly there for the first 2 immolators
