Hand Flamer seraphim. Clip off the fuel tank and the pilot light, widen the holes in the muzzle slightly, and use GS to make a melta canister on the side of the pistol.

Sounds cool, I'll give that a whirl sometime!

Meanwhile finished 3 of the 6

So, what your could consider if you had a razor saw is taking advantage of the thickness of the saw blade.

First I'd drill straight and square down the centre of the barrel to insert a pin, not for strength, mind you, but alignment.

Next, I'd probably make two cuts laterally through the heat shield barrel bit, one probably through the two outer holes and the stock end hole and once through the muzzle end hole. This should shorten your weapon two blade widths. If this isn't enough, repeat going through the two outer holes and the muzzle hole and the stock hole respectively for four blade widths.

This is, of course, not how I crafted my own, but given that I recently uploaded a picture of mine I'll share it and talk about what I actually did do:

You can see my inferno pistolier behind the Canoness, she wields weapons looted from the canoness kit back during, if I recall it correctly that poor, brief, window when bits order overlapped with the revised canoness model.

Still have a few essentials to paint up for my 1500pts plus swaps force

I'm thinking after I'm done, just as an exercise cause there so cool painting up some repentia and making them a bling rhino transport or building a command rhino, as it happens found some laser transfer paper last night so had a pop at this, what do people think?

I must be showing my age here but what is laser transfer paper and how do I use it? tongue.png

Waterslide decal paper especially for Laser printers

Transfer your own images or text onto plastic, ceramics, metals or wood

Create decals for model planes and vintage railway accessories.

Print photo's onto mugs and plates or your own art onto glass coasters etc

For our full range, type Mr Decal Paper into the Amazon search box

Excellent, now do an entire vehicle in it! laugh.png

So tempted to try it!!

Anyone know where I can get a scale line drawing of a rhino I could use as a template to lay up the transfer on, if yes I'm game

I wanted to try printing like this a while back, but the work laser printer is only B&W. They're getting a new one soon so perhaps my chance will yet come... :P What about transparency, is that more viable these days?

Stuff I used was transparent, I'd still recommend micro sol and set as it softens the transfer and helps it mold to the surface, matt varnishing after really gives it a painted look.

You can get an inkjet version of the same paper

Check for papercraft rhino patterns.

Here is one

Have you ever considered for the inferno pistols just cutting away the mag from the bolt pistol and the gun breach and adding a melta gun muzzle where the bolt pistol one was?

It gets the job done and is relatively simple.
