Alright, let's try this. I've uploaded the .catz file to Dropbox. You can download it directly to your device or computer (it's only 217.33Kb) then use your Battlescribe app to open it via your <Data Management> screen, clicking <Import Data From File>. This will likely be the only available option.

EDIT: link taken down, see more current post.

I'm gunna need some time to figure out the Detachments of Formations...not exactly sure how to edit Force Types just yet, only the Catalogues. I still haven't done Warlord Traits or the Terminator Captain with relic hammer option but the rest is there. Time for you all to start using it and letting me know what needs to change (excluding FW stuff) while I pick away at the rest.

Haven't messed with it much yet, but I see all the formations and options so far. Looking great! I'll keep playing around in it and let you know if I notice anything!

I'm so happy you're doing this! I can't thank you enough! I can start building lists is battlescribe again!

Holy :cuss I have no will to figure out github. Forget that noise. I'll post updates via dropbox here, if anyone else feels like figuring out how to upload my work to the repository of Battlescribe files be my guest. I'll try again when 2.0 gets released, don't see much use in learning more about things that are about to change.

I've made some headway with the Strike Force Detachments but they aren't quite done yet. Turns out there's a whole other editor for Force Types since it's under a different section, so when I get it done there will be two files to update your Battlescribe: one for your Game System (40k 7th edition) and one for your Catalogue (BA Angel's Blade Update).

I'm getting pretty swift with this if I don't say so myself. Once you grill how entries are done in other repositories it's easy enough to replicate. I look forward to never having to wait on someone to update an army list I use again!

OK, I think I figured it out.

EDIT: Download files from links, then when in the Data Management window of the Battlescribe app use the drop menu to select <import data from storage>. These should be the only files available.

I suggest deleting the previous file downloaded if you already grabbed the one I posted earlier. I don't know if it will make a difference but I did and my phone has accepted everything just fine. I haven't added in all the rules for the Strike Forces just yet.

When it goes to 2.0 I may very well have to start right from scratch, so who knows what will happen then. I use it a lot so if no one better than me is on it already then I'll take on the task but WHOA that's a lot more work than this to start from nothing pending the easiest and fastest interface in existence. I wonder if the powers that be are going to rework existing repositories to fit the new mold or if it's going to be totally done by the public.

Good work NTaW! I have successfully imported on my iPhone app version. If anyone needs direct links to do the same I've put them here (the Dropbox ones didn't work for me):

@LutherMax how did you get the files if the Dropbox link didn't work for you?

@Bartali they're on the list. I adjusted their points cost but failed on their transport options and I might not have added the Eviscerator.

Keep the feedback coming though please, it keeps my time spent fixing problems instead of finding them :)

@LutherMax how did you get the files if the Dropbox link didn't work for you?

I pasted the Dropbox links into BattleScribe but it didn't import anything, so I downloaded them and uploaded them to my website and it worked. Something to do with Dropbox security maybe? The string it adds to the URL?

They aren't made to link directly to Battlescribe, you have to download the files then load data from storage when in the app. I tried figuring out how to post .bsi links and got another dozen grey hairs in the process so this is what I'm currently left with.

Glad it still worked for you eventually!
