Painting The First Legion

Recommended Posts

WELL, WELL, WELL...

Look at who we have here today actually reading something I posted.

Go you.

By the title and the fact you clicked on it means that you are somewhat interseted in this subject.  Also like all my how to's you are looking at three to five total steps without mixing paints, or doing this, or doing that.  I believe that my items on the How-To-Do list are plain and simple and build off from there.

So without further adue...aduo...audoe...ehh you know what I mean.

The First Legion in all their glory.

-As you may have relized by now Black was a easy to mass produce color back in the grand expansion of the Emperors to retake the galaxy thus the First Legions colors were as such...black...

other Legions of course did the samething; Iron Hands, uhhh Raven Guard....uhhhhh wow my mind went blank there give me a second to go search this stuff....

....

ok then I was right it was just those three Legions, space wolves used a dark blue/grey color the Word Bearers were grey then red, and the Sons of Horus well...we won't go there just yet.

Now where was I rambling off to, AHHH YES Black Legion coloring.

I guess I can get right into this that is why you are here anyway to learn a new quick trick to mass produce a bunch of Marines loyal to whatever Primarch you are playing at the time...Maybe Fallen in the 40k Games as well.

----------------

Step One

You need your Marine...go ahead and pick him I wont post that pick that is up to you...haha

Step Two

I use my Foundation Charadon Granite and I do not look forward to when I run out of this stuff

Hit every spot you can get into with a brush and make sure it is somewhat even...

---------------------------------------

Step Two

Hit it hard with Adaddon Black

This gives him, his black armour.  I know this is hard but keep up I have faith in your abilities here to do this.

ONE MORE MAJOR STEP LEFT HERE...

----------------------------

Step Three

Bleached Bone over the icon of the Dark Angels.  There, you are now finished at whatever details you want for face or highlight if you are feeling froggy, maybe color that bolter red I see a lot of those.

Now go mass produce those guys and have at it.

This is a great quick way to make good table top quaility guys that will get the new guy started on how to learn to paint.

I am a firm believer that when you show someone how to do something simple way is the best and add tricks to it at a latter date when they have the basics down and are confident in their abilities.

...

welp...

enjoy
