That's a great sculpt. I wanted something to set the sergeant's artificier armor apart from the power armor in the rest of the squads, so I used the bodies from the Mk 2 & 3 command squads for them.

That Forge Lord rocks my face clean off. I LOVE that sword from the Vanguard Veterans kit. Simply killer.

I really like the sculpt. My thought with the sword was making so he could double as a Iron Father w/paragon blade if I tweaked the list a bit.

Dude, very nice looking Iron Hands! Any chance you'll do a Ferrus? That model is excellent, even if he picked the wrong side during the heresy

Thanks for the kind words Alan. I have an Armored Proteus on the table right now for the other Tactical Squad, and that will finish up the force. After that, I do plan on building Ferrus, but just as a display model. The Primarch sculpts are just too good too pass up.

Where did you get the servo arm for the Forge Lord from? Looks awesome!

Thanks! I'm pleased with how he turned out. The Forge Lord is Forgeworld's Iron Father with arm and weapon swaps. The mini actually comes with that servo arm.

Thanks. I made the bases myself. I used plastic card, cork, model railroad ballast, model railroad rocks, and 1:35 scale Verlinden bricks. Here is a short WIP.
