The next three Marines from the MkII squad. I had used Vallejo Liquid Gold to pick out some of the gold trim on these guys. When finished I sealed them with Army Painter's Matt Varnish. Poof! The gold disappeared. I'm wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else? I had to go back and touch them up with GW paint.

The second Dreadnought Drop Pod. No less miserable to assemble than the first one. Just a Leviathan and a Deathstorm Drop Pod to go and the 2000 point force will be complete.

The second Leviathan is complete, as is the army. When Forgeworld finally drops "Angelus" I will probably bump this force up another 1000 points to 3000 to include whatever the new releases are.

It's been quite awhile since I finished my Word Bearers and they have had their share of time on the game table since then. I'm taking advantage of the lack of recent Forgeworld updates to tweak this army. The new list will look like this:

Thanks Bjorn. Veteran Tactical Squad. I gave these guys a new Sergeant. The Marines were painted a couple years back as a Tactical Squad. I gave them bayonets to act as CCW's, one got a power axe and another a power sword. All were re based on 32mm.
