This is the first half of an Ashen Circle squad. I swapped out the shoulder pads with Mk3 to be able to display Chapter of the Unspeaking iconography.

these all look really good, my only critique/comment would be that the symbols in the armor and the desgins that are soo WB, there hard as hell to see cause there's no shade/ink to make them pop, have u considered making them either glow or inking them so there black to add depth to ur models.

Those mkV volkites are the nuts!

 

I love the mkV and it's especially underrated IMHO. I love the aesthetic and its brutal feel, however it doesn't mesh well with my 1st legion :(

They have been washed with Druchii Violet, but you're right, the details would pop more with a higher contrast color. I think I may try a black ink.

Raglan over at the 30k forum suggested Zardu might look better with some scripture on his armor. An excellent idea! He has an awful lot of detail on him, but I was able to get some of the smaller script on, and I'm pleased with the result.
