Sigismund's Ghost
Here is the latest completion, another Castellax, along with a shot of the unit. I really want to fit the Iron Warriors Contemptor into the list, so I will be making some adjustments. Narik only gets two automata, the foot tactical squad loses 5 marines and the apothecary, and gains a Vexilla. That will allow a Contemptor with a Kheres, DCCW, and TL Boltgun. Sigismund's Ghost
Thanks! I never thought of heresy style buildings, maybe I should make one to match the title. Montuhotep
I don't know what I envy more - your skills at paint or your ability to afford all this lovely FW resin-crack! Â Â And you certainly do them justice: which begs me to ask which Legion could be next? Assuming that there will be a next, of course. Â I know you must be pig-sick of explaining how you do bases by now, so I'll be brief - the plasticard you use; is that ready-scored into the tile pattern or is it your own work that does that? If bought, please tell me from where! Â Â Do keep it up, though, these are marvellous..... Sigismund's Ghost
Paladin, Â Thanks for the kind words. I shot you a PM with the details. Anyone else interested in the process, follow the link below. Â http://heresy30k.invisionzone.com/index.php?/topic/4087-city-bases/ Â Edit: There probably won't be another legion until book 6 drops. I may start Solar Auxillia in the meantime. Sigismund's Ghost
I just completed a tactical squad for my Iron Warriors using the new BaC set. Here is a comparison between that, and the original Forgeworld miniature. I think the GW model looks a little thicker, but not so much that it detracts from the cohesiveness of the army. Zeller
Are your vehicle decals from a new set of decals by FW? They have depth to them unlike all predecessors. ak1508
I abso-blimmin-lutely adore your armies! You really have done great and it clearly shows right here! If I were you, I would also apply the burnt effect on the energy weapon tips like FW did on theirs (lascannons, venator cannons, volkites and etc). Like the way they did on this one (the Blue one) for example:Â http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/Legion-Sicaran-Venator Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/296679-heresy-era-legions-building-log/page/6/#findComment-4257507 Share on other sites
