Woohoo! Yet another BoL legion is gonna get some models! Which reminds me....I need to post some pics of the CL so far....

Anyway, I look forward to seeing what you do with the BaC box to make it look especially zerkery, seeing as I won't get the box myself for quite a while(buying that many shields is far too expensive at the moment)

Okay, so I've got a rough idea of some of the daemon elements of the 'serkers, and thanks to my Bloodborne obsession, there's a massive influence from that in.

Unrefined - ones whose bodies rejected the genetic tampering and were instead unknowingly transfused Warp infected blood to try and force the body to evolve. Gangly long arms, hunching backs, distended necks, coarse fur, flattened bestial faces. So kinda like Wulfen, but less not Space Wolves, so better. I'm thinking lower armour, lower WS, no guns, no krak grenades, no legion rules, but higher base S, A, Rage, Fear and fleet.

Refined - Pretty much just Gal Vorbak but slightly more animalistic. Controlled experiment with the Warp blood and successfully altered Marines. They'll just be Gal Vorbak with Berserker legion tactics.

I'll write this up better out of work.

Okay, so alongside everything else, I'm making my background fit into our new 'verse, and here's the first guy to get edited: Centurion Dorahk! I figured in this canon, having him a guinea pig for genetic alterations would be a better fit than a cyborg, so I had a go:

Kehl Dorahk

Lobotomist, Captain of the 82nd, The Shapeless

A legendary survivor, Kehl Dorahk was not a popular member of the Berserker’s command structure. Indeed, his penchant for choosing self-mutilation as a means of defence over actual combat skill was pushing him towards both a demotion from the rank of Centurion, and a bloody retribution from his disgruntled Primarch. The discovery of the Old Blood inadvertently became his salvation - the apothecarion were keen to find subjects on which to refine the transformative process upon, and all were keen to see Kehl suffer. So, when his behaviour became intolerable, he was issued an ultimatum; partake of the Old Blood procedure, or die. Fortunately or not, Kehl Dorahk survived the procedure, and through it became even more obnoxious to kill than before. Now able to restructure his anatomy at a whim, he learned to survive by shunting an excess of flesh in the path of lethal blows that may otherwise have caused him great harm. This nightmarish ability should surely have been enough proof to all observing that a darker power hungered for the flesh of the Legion even in those early days, and that justice needed to be meted out upon the supporters of Kozja’s mad proposal, but alas, the universe is a hardly a just place.

Also means that when I model him, I get to make a blobby mess of a guy, which I've missed doing since I quit playing Ogres.

Nah. Leave it so. If a discussion like this occurs you can answer like that:

Hey why do they look like raven guard?

What raven guard? There is no legion in the broverse named raven guard.

Well they look so. Maybe make the white dirtier?

The reason the berserkers have so clean white arms is, so that the enemies see their own blood on the armor ;)
